There's so much context that is missing for foreigners. This music video, as well as all other Shortparis' clips, is referring to the current situation in Russia, mocking the musicians who betray their audience to get more money. "Clean commercial punk" - is the perfect description for some artists, indeed.
damn I was curious what a non russian-speaking person can get from this song other than just "oh this sounds cool". Because Shortparis are always so based on Russian context (Beslan terract in Страшно music video, militarism and totalitarism in КоКоКо, Так закалялась сталь, Говорит Москва, poverty and inequality in Двадцать and so on). More than that: they always use Russian visual code (like basic places, basic clothings) and references to russian culture.
Nevertheless you got the point in this video so perfectly! Despite missing some russian context in details.
I would like to see more videos from you, checking on Shortparis or other Russian music bands

the only downside of this band for me is that their amazing synths' sounds are probably made by Frontman on DAW and he just uses prerecorded synth part from his laptop on their shows..
They do so much on stage that it's perfectly excusable :)
