It's almost a week from when she was bit too. They think she's going to have to be in there for another week as well.

My cat wakes me up every morning by nibbling on my face. What you really gotta do is just respect your cat. Like they said about the ears thing. If your cat wants to be left alone leave it alone, a lot of cats will play bite like I mentioned earlier my cat usually wakes me up by nibbling or biting me. I have rescued 15 cats, stray cats never ever been bitten. I have always spoken & moved slowly around any cat. I always respect their space & only pet them if they come to me & lay nearby next to a leg or foot. Also I develop a relationship by respecting each cat's personality. Some want attn others only come for food & treats or to play. Cats tell you what they want with their nonverbal cues.

Actually wild cats are dangerous. They are Feline animals similar to Lions, cheetahs, Tigers, etc. The reason we choose Cats as Feline pets is because they are smaller compared to other feline animals.

I have a cat at home that came out of the woods that lets me pet him. Something's when it's playing, it may bite me lightly, but not hard enough to cause any wounds. I know these types of bites are harmless, however, you should still wash your hands after touching the cat. Generally though when I'm holding that cat in my arms, it seems relaxed and purring. The several cats that I have around the house do seen to do a good job at keeping the rats away since before having cats, we used to have allot of rats inside the house.

When I was 7 I got bit by a stray cat. She ripped on top of my right hand bad. I lost quite a bit of blood. I was scared of my parents so I hid it. And within a month it was healed. I guess I was lucky. Her sharp teeth sent incredible pain down my spine
I grew up with cats and love cats and pretty much knows how to handle most cases (not wanting to sound all-knowing). But I have a limit I have expressed is a line not to be crossed. That line is if my own cat all of a sudden with-out any known reasons would decide to come up and aggresivly attack me with claws and teeths. I have never experienced it and I hope I never will, but if it would ever happen - that cat is history, no matter how much I like that cat. Rule 1#. "You NEVER bite that hand that feeds you". Rule 2#. The pet is a PET, not a minor boss.

When I was 12 i was feeding cheese to my cat and he bite my index finger and refused to let go till bone was visible and it almost tore off. Once I got bitten by 3 cats at the same time. My sister's cat just broke in inside our house and my 2 cats hunted him down to beat him up. He went down my bed while my cats were surrounding the area. As I tried to take him down from my bed, he panicked because of the cats and gave me the worst bite in my life, while my sis' cat was bitting my left hand my 2 cats also started bitting me. My crazy cat bit my wrist while I was sleeping trying to get me to pet him. He is spoiled, so did it for attention. Went back to sleep. A couple of days later ended up,in the ER as wrist swelled and painful. Thought it was a flare up from previously being broken. It wasn’t until then, I thought to tell doc and that is how we knew treatment. Easily could have ended up admitted on IV treatment, but refused this to do oral. Thankfully it worked. Never knew cat bites were deadly.
Respect your cat individuality, be attentive to the signs of him being bothered or annoyed with whatever you are doing in that moment and stop. So far no cat of mine ever bite me, but I did get scratched (not the typical scratches by accident while playing) but the “leave me alone and go pet someone else” scratch. So mea culpa. If it’s a an adult street cat better don’t push the luck unless the cat comes to you and asks to be petted.

So basically common sense. I have 2 cats and I can read them well. They can tell you how they feel as long you know their behavior. And one of the sweetest cats I've ever had was a stray. I have never thought of cats as that dangerous before, although knowing an attack can be painful. When I was a kid I played with kittens with my bare hands and often got scratched, maybe bitten but I dont remember.

Actually wild cats are dangerous. They are Feline animals similar to Lions, cheetahs, Tigers, etc. The reason we choose Cats as Feline pets is because they are smaller compared to other feline animals.

I have a cat at home that came out of the woods that lets me pet him. Something's when it's playing, it may bite me lightly, but not hard enough to cause any wounds. I know these types of bites are harmless, however, you should still wash your hands after touching the cat. Generally though when I'm holding that cat in my arms, it seems relaxed and purring. The several cats that I have around the house do seen to do a good job at keeping the rats away since before having cats, we used to have allot of rats inside the house.

Not sure how he became so used to me, I guess I remember picking him up since he was a kitten last year. He seems to be close to being an adult, going on one year, it's about equivalent to a human being 15 years old. That's how old I was on May 11th, 1999.

When I was 7 I got bit by a stray cat. She ripped on top of my right hand bad. I lost quite a bit of blood. I was scared of my parents so I hid it. And within a month it was healed. I guess I was lucky. Her sharp teeth sent incredible pain down my spine

I grew up with cats and love cats and pretty much knows how to handle most cases (not wanting to sound all-knowing).
But I have a limit I have expressed is a line not to be crossed. That line is if my own cat all of a sudden with-out any known reasons would decide to come up and aggresivly attack me with claws and teeths. I have never experienced it and I hope I never will, but if it would ever happen - that cat is history, no matter how much I like that cat.
Rule 1#. "You NEVER bite that hand that feeds you". Rule 2#. The pet is a PET, not a minor boss.

This video is the best out of all the how to survive vids because cat attacks are super common. Like he says, best to know the signs. If your cat seems irritated, leave it alone or you'll get a claw in the skin. I ended up with stitches from mine.
When I was 12 i was feeding cheese to my cat and he bite my index finger and refused to let go till bone was visible and it almost tore off. And my hand was badly scratched because I was trying to break free. It didn't change anything I still love and play with cats and getting minor cuts and scratches are just love marks of a cat owner ❤

I don't know why but I'm smiling while watching this because I trust my cats not to bite me but crying because I have anxiety and it makes life hard. I have to learn how to avoid deadly things otherwise I worry about not being able to avoid them but once I know how to avoid them I get paranoid that I'll run into them going to Walmart

I was bit by a cat and ended up in the hospital with a systemic infection. Always clean cat bites right away, and see an urgent care. Also keep an eye on possible infection. If you have swelling, redness going up and around the bite, and severe pain, it is probably infected. Stay safe❤

My cats are such sweet hearts they have NEVER bit me to hard, mostly because I raised them ever since they were kittens.
Be careful since they might attack strangers, dogs, other cats or a family member. Make sure to see their behavior around people. Keep them away from stray, wild or other pet animals. Even if they don't attack you, which they might end up doing someday, they might attack people or another animal right under your nose. Short version: be careful and watch them

Once I rescued a cat from my roof, and it scratched my arm with its leg when some dogs started barking at it from a fence. I still have the scars today, but I didn't feel any pain. Weird, because it was on the inside part of my arm, which has a softer skin, so it should have hurted

I had a cat as a kid that never meowed just growled and hissed he was so big and strong i got a buzz out of just trying to pick him up without being attacked. Once I got bitten by 3 cats at the same time. My sister's cat just broke in inside our house and my 2 cats hunted him down to beat him up. He went down my bed while my cats were surrounding the area. As I tried to take him down from my bed, he panicked because of the cats and gave me the worst bite in my life, while my sis' cat was bitting my left hand my 2 cats also started bitting me. It lasted close to a minute, after releasing my hand I felt could and hunger and my hand was swollen.I got my shots and I learned something that day.
My cat wasn’t feeling good, and I decided I wanted to play with him. I think he sunk his teeth into my hand all the way up to his gums. After I cleaned the wounds, I apologized to him for my ignorance. I learned a lot about cats that day.

My crazy cat bit my wrist while I was sleeping trying to get me to pet him. He is spoiled, so did it for attention. Went back to sleep. A couple of days later ended up,in the ER as wrist swelled and painful. Thought it was a flare up from previously being broken. It wasn’t until then, I thought to tell doc and that is how we knew treatment. Easily could have ended up admitted on IV treatment, but refused this to do oral. Thankfully it worked. Never knew cat bites were deadly.

So far no cat of mine ever bite me, but I did get scratched (not the typical scratches by accident while playing) but the “leave me alone and go pet someone else” scratch. So mea culpa.

So basically common sense. I have 2 cats and I can read them well. They can tell you how they feel as long you know their behavior. And one of the sweetest cats I've ever had was a stray. Right now she laying in in her kitty tent and my other is watching me. This video made it look like cats cats a super dangerous. They're not. What great way to make people hate cats, hate them more and made people who fear them, fear them more. It was over the top and not needed.
