For drinking water I strongly suggest an RO system with UV so there is no chance you ever get sick from your water. I also suggest taking multi mineral/vitamin daily when doing this as there is nothing left in the drinking water.

Hi there. Remember to check the heath exchanger ! You may find your impeller parts in there. They can block water flow and your motor can overheat still!

I love Stefan's humor: "You should not have to beg for it when you're doing dirty work"😅. I catch myself laughing and chuckling from your humor and Stefan's humor. I'm an old salt no longer able to sail the oceans; but I sure enjoy those who still can. Thanks for the videos.

I bet you thought this video is mainly a problem fixing vid. And it is. Mostly. But the thing that stands out about it, the thing that shines through in hundreds of little ways, is nothing to do with technical fixes. It’s the love between you both. It struck me strongly that you both respect like and love each other. A real pleasure to see. I hope I’m not wrong but you two seem be going strong together on that lovely vessel. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you so much for the comments. We both have our quirks but we are lucky to have each other. 💕

Lllllove the sign “ Smile, you’re on camera” 😂. Fortunately you’re not in a pinch timewise so you can take your time towards Tobago.

lol! We were going to take our time but Stephane decided to turn it into a passage because it was a good window. We arrive in a couple hours. 🤪

I so much enjoy watching you two enjoy life on a boat. Also appreciate Stephan's explanations of how things work. Thanks for sharing.

You two seem happier and finally adjusted to your new boat. What’s the secret and time for adapting to the stresses of a new boat when cruising? Or, have you just accepted that a new boat just means new issues to deal with?

Acceptance and no expectations is the key. A 9k nm season with 1k up wind and an ocean passage will do it. 🤣

Customer service has become a nuisance for major manufacturers. Well done for calling them out. Most have removed their phone numbers so email is the only means of contacting, have been playing email ping pong with a large manufacturing company which could have been resolved easily with a telephone conversation 😡. Needless to say i will not be doing business with them again

Agree, not a fan of Isotherm, I wish Dometic would make built ins. I love my portable one.

Hi, could you please give more information about the Parker valve you are using for pressure control , I had a look at their website and there are hundreds of options.
    Thanks!

I ordered it directly from Dessalator (our watermaker) so I'm not sure where they sourced it. I couldn't find it with a Google search but I'll ask them.

People can order this particular Parker valve as a set (valve, bracket and hose pillars) directly from Dessalator France at contact@dessalator.com. List price is EUR 202,80.
What you're really looking for with a watermaker is a switch over valve without a 'closed' position.
