    Still no 52 points at Denver? 30 points in the 4th quarter, need to see!

    Jordan saves the day yet again and immediately walks over to show love to his Carolina homie Walter "The Greyhound" Davis, who at one point MJ lobbied heavily for, yet he was ignored by Bulls GM Jerry Krause-- one of the many things The G.O.A.T. held against "Crumbs" throughout his time with the team. Then of course, the ultimate disrespect by Mike by not inviting Krause to his Hall of Fame ceremony was icing on the Alpha Male cake. 😂😂

      HoustonIsImmortal from what I read, the Bulls did try to get Davis, but Davis stayed in Denver because his wife preferred for their family to live in Denver than move to Chicago. Then they got Doug Moe, whose had a super fast running pace (and absolutely NO defense). Davis was like 36 years old so a running game didn’t work for him, and he ended up regretting not going to Chicago

    @4:47-4:50...play that jump ball in slow motion and you’ll see the quickness and perfect sense of timing that permeated every facet of Jordan’s game. He was staying low to the ground while being patient and alert (perfectly timing and anticipating when the referee would initiate the jump ball), whereas his opponent is already standing upright, thus decreasing his potential energy on the jump, and is hitching up and down in a futile attempt to tap the ball before Jordan. And notice how Jordan is tracking the direction of the referee’s eyes to let himself know when to jump, while the other guy is too busy watching Jordan and trying to anticipate Jordan’s jump. Additionally, observe how QUICK he was able to get off the ground! There’s never been a quicker jumper before or since.

    4:15-4:20, other level eye test. Look how in tune he is with the ball. I don't know what you even call that. It's extremely rare though. It's not just him with the ball, but what happened even after homie missed it. He was moving with the guy (he passed it to) as he gathered it on the rebound. But as the ball bounced on the rim, his arms were moving at the exact moments the ball bounced. But before he missed the lay up the guy who was guarding him hit the ground at the same time as him, and spun, and the steps and like mirrored it. Basketball and world football are the sports I see this happen the most. But it mostly happens in world football when someone scores. The scorer and the goal keeper are normally linked like that. Anyway, it happens a lot in basketball, watching the scoring greats, when they're being closely guarded and seeing it happen makes me appreciate sports more.

      Yes, they were synchronized in their movements; it’s a peculiar yet weirdly satisfying occurrence. Oddly enough, that kind of player-synchronization actually happens more than you think it would. There’s videos dedicated to showing examples of that phenomenon in the NBA, ones even more synchronized than the one you referenced.

    That play by play commentary is on point!

      The commentary would sometimes be used for a radio broadcast as well as for the TV. (True story.) That's why you hear them being very detailed in play by play here. You can tell this was used for TV _and_ radio.

    151-145?? Makes me wonder how many points Walter Davis had. This shouldve been a duel video.

    I wish MJ could get it together in Charlotte:(

    • @AHMAD-2324
      @AHMAD-2324 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That'll never happen unless they strike lightning in a bottle the way Chicago did wit him. Their in a small market and no free agent's are willingly going to Charlotte. So Unfortualey for The G.O.A.T. it's gonna have to be done strictly through the draft. And GOOD luck wit THAT!

    You should focus more on MJ in the late 80s
    Some people only see MJ didn't look good in 80s, therefore they don't like 80s' MJ. But that's very dumb for a real MJ fan.
    The 88-89 MJ had many great highlights that are deserved to be witnessed.

      23 MJ 88-89 was the most explosive Jordan of all his years

    • @bwink23
      @bwink23 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      80's was AIR Jordan and that version is why he became so popular to begin with...way before Championship Jordan.

    • @ericgold8500
      @ericgold8500 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 80's were the most spectacular years for Jordan, I like those years more, even if he didn't won a Championship in those days.

    • @AnHebrewChild

      Who says 80s MJ didn't look good?? I've never heard anyone say that. I'm confused.

    Wow thats high scoring for that era. Probly the bulls highest ever with jordan? Please do 96 97 season get some losses too who cares its still entertaining

      Incorrect. The Bulls with MJ have scored over 140 points (152 once) several times before. Sounds like you skim the surface relative to the NBA, as you said "probably". Data is so easily found these days, if you actually want to know 😅
