- An update on the breeding for the new season. I’ve put down 8 pairs of Birmingham roller pigeons and hoping to breed around 40 to 50 young birds. These birds mainly consist of the George Mason family but there is also a pair of John Wanless birds. I’ve also included some footage of my kit birds that I’m flying through the winter.

Nice update. Clean loft and setup.
Les got some dang good birds you might wanna keep them make room. For them they cross good with George's birds 👍
I’ve got 2 hens left of his. Have you tried that cross? I might try it later in the year. Not enough space at the moment.
Still way to cold to start breeding here in Canada
Really like the fact you give the family background of the birds
I fly a Monty Nieble bloodline
PS nice yellow 💛
Thank you Gary. We’ve had a few cold weeks but I’m sure it’s nothing compared to what you get over there. The yellow hen is a little beauty and a great producer. I’m really looking forward to her young ones this year.
Best of luck with your birds and you can’t really go wrong with the Monty Nieble line!

@@doublearollers near the Dartford Bridge
Do you know any roller men/women at my neck of the woods.
@@robsrollers1329 there’s not many around those sides as far as I know. How far is Chigwell from you?
Hi mate have you got any birds for sale? I'm happy to arrange a courier if so. If you have i really like ya Mason red mottel cock n the black saddle back hen in this video if ya got any from them. I need a couple of hens or a pair and a hen as iv only got 2 red cheque badge cocks n 1 blue cheque badge hen and a self red about 4 months old (sex still unknown) I know its not the colour that counts in a roller but I don't want to end up with nearly all red cheques in my loft.
Nice birds do you sale any
Thank you. Sorry, none for sale. Maybe end of year or early next year I might have some to give away.
@@doublearollers cheers give me a shout when you’re Selling any

Hi, can you give me abit of help if you can?
How can I help?
@@doublearollers thanks for replying so fast big fan of your channel, I am new to rollers I have 8, 4 month old rollers, had them flying for 45 minutes to 1 hour everyday always landed on the kitbox, just starting to do their first rolls. Over the last week They have started flying only for 5 minutes, and landing on the house roof and never done that since being babies, feed hasn't changed. It was literally within 2 days or so they went from 45 minutes to 1 hour down to 5 or 10 minutes... I noticed a fair bit of feathers in the kitbox and saw 2 feathers fall from them when flying. Could it be moulting causing this issue? Thanks alot
@@doublearollers I thought might be moulting cause read a few people saying that thier birds only flew for 5 minutes and would land, and read on a roller forum that is from 2010 a guy said rollers will try land anywhere usually where they never have when moulting. And you seem knowledgeable when watched you videos. Hope you can help.
They flew for 25 minutes today, but still landed on the house roof. Just unsure if there just going to be issue birds or if its the moult
