FJ Cruiser rear door won't close (fix).

The rear door latching mechanism gets sticky and doesn't return to its open position even when the rear door handle is lifted up. If this happens, with the FJ completely unlocked including the back door, while lifting up the rear door handle, use your finger, pen or something to push the latch toward the front of the vehicle. Then make sure to lube the mechanism when you get a chance so it is less likely to occur.
