Wow 🤩 your video is wonderful, very inspiring. I also take classes with the artist Pitó Campos, an excellent teacher………… But you have been a pure and genuine inspiration🎉👏👏👏👏👏👏you inspired me to paint outdoors and this country is spectacular for that😍 congratulations and thank you so much from London, Ontario 🇨🇦.

High park! I know this view so well. Watercolour is such a vast medium to explore, I feel like I’ll never be done

Quack! Your duck has a lot of personality and your pen drawing is amazing! I've seen another TH-cam plein air artist, Leslie Stolz, use a terry wristband (tennis players use them) to wipe her brushes on. Thought you might like that idea. How brave of you to experiment on camera! Ever try masking fluid? Your choice of subject matter really appeals to me -- gotta try it. Thanks.

Thank you JD Schneider. The terry wristband is a great idea - and will stop me from using my shirt sleeves and hands. I will check out Leslie Stolz.

When I saw 'High Park' I had to take a look...and I was intrigued with how you manage plein air and landscapes (my subjects are portraits human and animal and florals at a desk). I've lived in several neighbourhoods in T.O. including H.P., and as a sailor, visited your sailboat video too...painting and T.O. felt like home!. Anyway, my recent visit to a family chalet in the Laurentians has me wanting to paint it - How to do landscape???!! Foilage???!!! I'll be checking our more of your videos.

Thank you Janacvk. I’ve struggled with landscapes and nature scenes but I really want to improve because I enjoy being in nature to draw. I took a Domestika course by Daniel Pito Campos on landscape watercolour that I learned a lot from.

I like this takeaway from your normal urban sketching. Could you do more of the nature simplified watercolor/ink studies? Thank you for your time and talent!

Thank you. I was recently at a cottage and did quite a few landscape/nature studies that I will be posting in the next few weeks.

Can you show us your camera setup? You’ve positioned your camera in such a nice way so we can see everything of what you’re doing, which is absolutely great and educational. I’ve wanted to film myself drawing but just can’t quite get the right camera angle. Thanks!

Hi Annie, I use my phone camera with a gorilla grip tripod. In this video I wrapped it around my bike handlebars to get the shot. It’s not a perfect method and depending on the location it’s harder to find a good position.
