The live action takemichi seems so better in this clip!! He almost looks cooler than the anime version (while its generally the other way around). Even mikey and draken seem more realistic and filled with emotions than in anime. Gotta say the VA did a really great job in bringing out the hate for takemitchy.
This is one of the only live action adaptations I enjoyed. It has it's corny parts that works better in the anime like: Takemichi screaming is cringe in live action and him talking to himself in public and other times where its too faithful to the anime.

That doesn't mean anime is the only best! That's why you anime fans are toxic. I quit that community way long. You never appreciate anything good. This live action nailed it and is a good live adaption . Compare this to dragon Ball evolution live adaption and then talk
@@jojostoenail2162 Because he isn't like that at all in both the manga and the anime. He looks like a kid with ADHD on a sugar rush. Mikey is a lot calmer and mature. And yeah, he is often childish, but not like that. They did a great job at making Draken his actual age though, imo. He seems a lot less mature but still is. Draken in the anime looks like he's 30, haha.
@@kuroro9949 almost all the characters are kids but what are the chances of finding that many talented young Japanese actors that look similar to the characters willing to play that role. Especially when they have adult actors in abundance
