    Also when I ate too many raw fruits or veggies in the winter I get to tend to get cold then usual. So I reduce the amount of raw Fruita and veggies in the winter.

      Can you eat cooked veggies? Having a mixed of cooked/raw is perfectly acceptable.

    So, what I hear is expensive! I recently heard a podcast that said fruits and vegetables are losing their nutritious potency. I wonder, is this true?

      Big G (Government) does not want us healthy. They've been messing with our food, the weather, you name it, for a long time.

    I'm sure this is meant to be an overview, not an in depth presentation.
    Vegetables and fruits can be washed effectively with a home made wash.

    People in the blue zones don't use skim milk or 1% milk. I'm Italian. So I don't agree with the RD's out dated information on low fat.

      ​@@arihaviv8510 partially correct it's based on a Greece Italy Spain nations in the middle east like Lebanon. And if you ask someone from Italy play with no best with the traditional Mediterranean diets for their Nation. From what I understand they are slowly moving away from that. Keep in mind it's not just a diet. Italians go out and walk for an hour every day as a family. As neighbors.

      that’s perfectly fine. Think abt the other meats u purchase that also come from a farm. Farm raised just makes it readily accessible. I can understand not everyone may agree with purchasing farm raised fish.

    A good diet for us " old timers " ! Fruits and veggies, some fish and some meat.........but no red meat for me !

    Most of the fish she mentioned aren't in the Med. Salmon 🤣. Most of the countries surrounding the south and west are poor green vegetable producers also. Lots of beans, pulses etc though.

      Exactly even eating chicken makes me blow up with inflammation on my joints, so not everybody can follow this type of diet no no no

    Isn't full fat grass fed dairy better because the omega 3 benefits your brain and fats needed for your body. I know too much sugar is definitely not good. 👍

      I can't stand Greek yogurt and I will never eat it! Our local grocery store hardly has any choices of regular yogurt anymore

      Fish is expensive! Eating canned fish more than once a week cannot be good! I’ll just try to minimize meat all together

      You can get 2 lbs of salmon for under 20 bucks. That's eight 4oz servings. Doable for most people.

      @@Donna-cozydecorproblem is g g finding the organic that is truly organic. Sprays from nearby farms drift onto organic farms. Until we demand the blocking of using those sprays then are we truly getting organic?
