I'm confused... How are the Chargers gonna be "not as lethal" and be in top 10 when they had a 5-12 record last year?
I would take the bears over them compared to how they did last year and how they improved and i wouldn’t put them in top ten either
Brandon Staley was THAT bad. Worst .500 head coach ever. He's basically back to intern now with the 49ers. Worst head coaching hire of all time, and that's saying alot considering the .500 record. That was a top 5 talented roster and he BLEW IT. Harbaugh knows how to run the football

Yeah, he did exactly what I've done a few times. I mixed Brock Bowers' name with Fiske multiple times. However, I'm going to call Fiske "Kingpin" from this point forward.

Chargers are still 1 year away. They are building a powerhouse. They will finish above .500 and might make playoffs, but 2025 is when they will be one of the favorites.

Exactly. Not everyone can see what a team is trying to do. Some are stocking, some are rebuilding even if it is a minor rebuild.
Niners peaked cause they have older players, like dude 2 of the 3 players you mention are 28 & 27, that's their peak playing years ffs!! Even if CMC drops off by 10% he's still be one of the best RBs in the league.

As a chargers fan, it’s too early to put them top 10. I think it’s possible they finish top 10, but it has to be proven. You just cant justify putting them over teams like Miami, Cincy, Pittsburgh, and maybe even Jax or Atlanta.

As a Browns fan, it’s absolutely wild how much hate our two teams get. The Bengals were a throw away from winning a superbowl a couple years ago and still finished over .500 without Burrow last year. The Browns had the best defense in the league, the most injuries to a team and finished 11-5, and yet a 5-12 Chargers team loses everyone on offense, and they are better than both??? Absurd.

Another year, probably the 4th consecutive time the Chargers start the season in Colin’s top 10. Colin has to be a Charger fan at heart. He can’t help himself.
Guys like Colin and Nick wright fall in love with QBs then ride them until they are no longer on the team that drafted them especially if it’s with their first 6 years in the league. There is a reason Colin and Nick don’t like Purdy and it’s because they can’t stand the fact that they and all the scouts were wrong about him.

Casuals will say the bills are so much worse without diggs.
But replacing diggs with a younger healthier Keon Coleman, up and coming Shakir is better than Gabe Davis. Kincaid is coming into his own. James cook is better than ever. Adding guys like Curtis Samuel, Hollins, Isabella, shorter into the mix. With Knox in double Te and great Oline depth, Ray Davis as the one two punch with James cook. This offense has potential to be much more versatile than diggs dependent and Josh is a much better player when he’s spreading the ball around and going through progression. We saw that at the end of the season, Allen was so much better when diggs wasn’t as involved in the offense. I think the offense is the same or better this year

I agree. Steelers, Browns & Fins all made the playoffs. Steelers had one of the best drafts, got Russell and Fields and added Queen. Chargers lost Keenan Allen which is big loss. They need Dobbins to be healthy.
“Eagles need to add more than just Mitchel to fix their defense”. We added cjgj, Mitchel, Dejean, Devon white, Bryce huff, a competent coordinator, and other future guys in the draft.

2 years ago every ball bounce went the Vikings way and they were great. Last year, it all went the other way, including the Cousins injury. I’ve been watching the NFL since the early 1970s. This is how it goes. So, what does that mean? It means the Vikings are a top ten team this year as all the bounces and breaks go their way again, like two years ago. Watch.

Packers at #5 is kinda ridiculous....I'm far from unbiased but last season I was trying to tell everyone that GB was making the playoffs even after that brutal loss to Chicago....if you have at least some knowledge of the sport, and watched GB (which they were frequently on prime time, as always) you could see that Jordan Love was starting to click.

As a friend who is a Dolphin fan said the Jets are the Jets. Bengals have a lot to prove in a very tough division. Steelers, Ravens, 49er's are better than the Bengals and Jets. Ravens beat the Lions by 32 last season.

I like the rankings to a point. I'd be careful right now about the Lions being a younger Niners though. Lynch spent a ton of picks on the defensive line for about 4-5 years. I think the Lions need much more help up front. Other than that , I'll let you be . For now .

What is it with Colin and the Chargers? He overrates them every year.
The Ravens are too high. Last year was their best team, and the game against KC wasn’t close. KC was the superior team, by a lot. Derek Henry has had a lot of medical problems in the past few years, and he’s running on fumes. They fold when another team pushes back and plays as physical as they do. The Rams should have beat them.
Ravens shot themselves in the foot with four personal fouls, Flowers got cocky then humbled real quick. Chiefs got cold at the right time because they made adjustments and played much better after the new year. Ravens had a very good draft. Simpson will replace Queen and be great. Big question going forward is replacing Zeitler. Other four spots on the O-line will be very good. Need another receiver and to be healthy in the backfield. Henry, Keaton and Justice is going to be great.
I agree the Rams could have and probably should have beat them. Best offensive output against the Ravens last season and the Rams blew it. Dropped passes, missed field goal, two delay of game penalties and punt return to end the game.

Lions really improved their secondary too, they are gonna love Vaki, he plays hard, hits hard, he is smart and you can bring him in offense or return punts. To steal from baseball he is a 5 tool guy and gives them a player they can fit into different situations.
None of these teams have played a snap yet. I believe nothing until I watch them play. Let's wait until the 9th game of the season. Then we will know.

Colin you seem to forget that the Bengals beat the Bills and Niners on consecutive weeks when Burrow finally regain his health. I think we are gonna miss Sneed more than most Chiefs will admit. Between he and McDuffie, eliminated took away 1/2 the field. Run D and pass rush could see improvement.
I think the younger guys will be moved up and up the challenge.
Corners and wide receivers do not win super bowls, quarterbacks and defensive line win super bowls.
When the chiefs let Ward go, people thought they were crazy, and the niners now love him.
Patriots never kept corners, but they kept Brady and wolfolk.
All teams need to decide where the money will go.
Sneed is great, but you can always find corners. You cannot find Chris Jones, or wolfolk, or Aaron Donald.
Philly in the top 10 is hilarious. Their defense may be better but the offense will take a step back without Kelce and a mismatched QB/OC combination.

Goff has 5 playoff wins in 8 years, Purdy has 4 wins in 2 years. Goff has gotten to the Superbowl and only scored 3 points in that Superbowl in a loss, Purdy also took an L in a Superbowl but scored 22 points and pushed the Chiefs to overtime. Goff has lost in the wildcard and the divisional, Purdy has never lost before getting to the Championship round and he's never lost a Championship round where he wasn't injured out of the game.
The only advantage Goff has over Purdy as it stands now is that he has more seasons, Purdy has him beat pretty much everywhere else, but they're not too far off especially how he's being utilized in Detroit now.

Last year was the year to beat them in regular season we didn’t scare anyone.. this year we got way better.. plus we picked up a great tight end.. we got more receivers… good offensive line help.. the defense didn’t lose anyone too big..

Jim Harbaugh is not a good HC and has been out of the NFL for a decade you don’t just come back and dominate and it’s not like even dominated at Michigan either it took him a national cheating scandal for him to even get three games below 500 against his biggest rival media is hyping them up way too much and it’s just setting the team up for disappointment
Just being flat out honest, Cincy can possibly finish last in their division. The browns are a match up nightmare for them, the ravens have gotten exceptionally better and so did Pittsburg. And Joe burrow is coming off a huge injury, again.
