I don't know why you hate this phone... i have this phone and i can say is the best phone. Phone is fast as samsung s10e and battery can live all day without problem and camera is good. I agree the phone is overpriced, if you have no money for it don't hate phone

well the display and performance are both better on the a80 so 2/3 points are invalid as well as a plasticky build quality, unless your gaming this phone is gonna be much better to use (the a80 that is).
I thought it was Samsung's "glastic".
Also, why would they ditch the headphone jack? There's already no chance of waterproofing.

I just bought the phone and do not let the reviews fool you,the fone is amazing! It has a lot of on board memory, there is no need for extra. Secondly they say it has no headphone jack, another lie. You plug in headphones on the charging outlet and works like a charm. It comes with an original case,debunking claims that you can't put a cover. The only slight downside is it is slightly heavy,so for gym rats like me it becomes slightly inconvenient to carry. Otherwise overally it's a great phone for the price i got it for at least. I'm happy
Been using my A80 (Angel Gold variant) for almost 2 years now and I love it. This phone doesn't look cheap at all because of its metal frame. I never encountered a problem at all with its motorized camera. Been using the camera 3x every day for video calling and it's always been so smooth.

Samsung is very innovative. Thinking outside the box. While other manufacturers (apple) are changing the size of their phones along with tweaks to their software, and renaming it.
People should appreciate that.

Does selfie autofocus work in 3rd party apps like Open Camera? Or is it locked by hardware?
What game is that you are testing with?
This could add more budget to greater camera and a really good selfie cam at the same time..This really shows the real and cool things samsung has been doing to their phones.... we need to sacrifice the time lag frm rear to the front cam but its definitely worth it... I would give a couple hundred bucks for phone like this.. The cam quality can be even doubled up cuz I think this is already a great phone and bigger and better cam would just make it even better.. Sometimes a cam like this is really useful for a mid range phone.. Its only disadvantage is that of it not being waterproof which I think is not that big of an Issue cuz we have lived without that before and Nobody wants to use their phones underwater..
samsung has also paid a lot of attention to the detail of this phone and Idk why this is soo underrated.. I m not sure if this has a face lock cuz that could be a bit slow.. But I myself a A70 user, feel really good while using the on screen fingerprint scanner.. I think the price is a bit too high for a mid range phone.. cuz A70 is much cheaper as compared to this .. Also the 6 gig of ram gives it a bit more than required ... its ok and the one ui is the best.. Cant wait for the 1UI update to be on this phone.. The great motor of this phone could be a great example to other companies..There is a slight risk in any physical parts of the phone... If one plus starts doing this... it might be cool.. but those camera.. thats smthin they would lose .. overall A80 is a beast!!🤯

LG V50 = best headphone jack phone with recent specs.
Maybe its not as good as the A70 in different ways, but I think its a nice way they are going. The teardrop nodge is not my thing, so I really aprreciate the new model A80. The screen is huge and looks amazing, which has some advantages :P :D
So it has a smaller battery than the A70, it doesnt have a headphone jack like A70 and it doesnt have expandable storage like the A70. Wtf
I would rather buy a50 or a70 then this..Camera fliping thing is just ridicilous. Plus ,no headphone jack .
Bluetooth headphones are far better anyway I mean cmon cut the cord though I prefer non wireless headphones for like a computer setup

I'm getting the A80 because it's now cheaper (on offer) than the A70. The lack of expandable storage is a big blow for me. The lack of a headphone jack not so much as I have a pair of decent Bluetooth headphones. Manufacturers drop the jack to get customers to buy their own headphones.

@@idontevenknowb2458 honestly i dont :) but i do have to gave it extra care, though its cool to have flipping camera phone and i just love the real full screen without a notch, perfect for gaming!

@@idontevenknowb2458 its average i think, it can last abt 10-12 hrs i would say. And it takes less than an hour, maybe abt 40 mins to be fully charged

Worst variant of A 2019 series yet, no headphone jack, no microsd slot, small battery. Sd 730g is decent for midranger but around A80's price there are many better options that offers sd855 like Asus Zenfone 6 and Redmi K20 Pro.
Really disappointed with Samsung on this one.
They had a pretty good value , if you compare it to their flagship, and not everyone need that flagship chipset, but a lot of people need that flagship quality camera, just take a look at pixel 3a xl, priced similarly, and even have worst value compare to this phone
@@ezrapardede1921 the camera performance is yet to be examined. But as soon as I looked at this review, and they showed A80's camera results, I'm not impressed at all. I'm flustered by the confusion this phone wants to offer, everything looks average and underwhelming except the price. The same could be applied to Pixel 3a XL, but as we know its camera is still up to flagship's mark to say the least.
I have Samsung A50, and I'm really satisfied with it. This one doesn't excite me as much as A50 and A70 somehow, cause I know bezelless beasts like Zen 6 and K20 Pro are around, ofc talking about overall specifications, not only about the SoC, they still edge A80 hard.
@@nikkisamuasa i see your point, it's have mid range processor but its too expensive to be a midrange, yet it don't have quite a flagships camera quality for it to justify the premium, the only thing that closes it self to the flagship is its metal and glass back, but even that so, it is lacking the water proofing of the ''genuine" flagship device

To be fair he has a review unit this will no doubt change with consumer units plus a few software updates.

that wouldn't work even if you could in software it would be a really clunky user experience,.
It's just fragile plus that price isn't exactly budget for a phone lacking some basics like a headphone jack and sd card. No thanks.

Headphone jacks aren't present on most of the flagship phones like the xperia 1 and the p30 pro, usb c converters or usb c earphones can be used anyway

The Mi 9T has the same processor although only 6GB of RAM, it still has a better value. And it also has longer battery life, headphone jack and a small front camera.
