Hi Glenda. I think I would rather buy a nice crochet pattern book for that kind of money. I do enjoy your magazine reviews. Thanks for the information.

Hi Creative Grandma it is a lot of money for what they are showing. I agree you need all the information to do these. Thank you for sharing. And have a good day.

I completely agree. Hopefully they get enough feedback that in future magazines, they only feature patters with every bit of important pattern information

I think I would look online and TH-cam for patterns. I always love looking at magazines. It’s a shame they have gotten so expensive.

I am making a scrap blanket to donate in the future.

Finished measurements might depend on the crocheter and how tight their stitches are. That occurs on mosaic and many amigurumi.

I agree in that observation that for such an expensive magazine they could have included basic measurements. That and other criticisms are editing questions. But still, that could have been covered!

There were a few cute patterns in there, the Snowflake Wreath would look nice in patriotic colors 🙂 Definitely pricy, I would need to LOVE most of them to justify gouging my small budget. Thanks you Glenda ☺️

Not much I like but the mini snowman but I love the reviews Glenda.

I agree this is on the expensive side for a crochet magazine with no pattern sizees.

There weren't enough patterns that I would want to make to make it worth my while. When magazines are this expensive, I usually prefer to buy a soft cover book for the same price or less.

Exactly why I don't buy magazines. All the information and then some should be listed in all magazines.
I get free patterns from others on TH-cam.

I would suspect that they are having various designers design these projects. If each designer is submitting their own instructions and /or photos, they are supplying whatever info they usually do. The magazine editors should be proofreading the patterns, and contacting the designer if any info such as size is missing, prior to publication. I have found that many of these magazines contain a lot of errata. No one at the magazine is actually testing the patterns. (I subscribe to several).

That said, I could care less about the exact size of a stash busting ornament or toy. Now clothing items, I want a gauge swatch measurement and finished item measurements.

Utube tutorials are best for these types of things usually free patterns available. If they want to stay valuable to crochet folks they must put useful detailed patterns of wearables that people really wear and use not odd weird items

Not only is this magazine overpriced but its also incomplete with lack of sizes and measurements. I vote "no" for purchasing. Thanks so much for sharing, and I'm sorry you had to pay so much for it!

I do not like the crochet magazines when you have to change stitches to UK

👋 Glenda! I can see what attracted you to this magazine but shameful that the sizes and directions are not so clear. ☹️ 😞 🥺

Thanks for the review! I won't buy those magazines, too expensive. Some you get a discount on a year subscription but I won't buy those either because I never get all of the issues, they usually go to wrong address or they get lost somewhere. Have a wonderful weekend! ❤😘😊🧶
