Unreal levels of charisma, and a life that tragically ended in suicide just 6 short years later.

I saw INXS at The Portsmouth City Hall in 1991 when they did a small gigs tour! They were a huge stadium band but did this tour and me and several mates got to the front of the City hall and they were the best band I’ve ever seen like!! Just incredible 👏👏👏👏

I guess they and Talking Heads have something in common there, though Talking Heads was kind of like an older brother to these bands who came along after. I listened to these guys a lot in junior high and high school. They're kind of a "chick band" but I didn't really care. I liked the music.
Loved INXS growing up Teen years. He was a really shy character Micheal Hutchence…his documentary is really good watch…all changed in Italy….there’s a lot more to that guy giving Mick a crack that fateful incident.
The band did this gig for virtually nothing as their manager, the late great Chris Murphy, put so much money into the production, cameras and helicopters 🚁 to film. Just as well, as this Wembley is no longer around and shows Inxs at their best
