@@rideallegretto1933 I'm sorry to hear about you snapping your bike. I must've gotten one of the last ones in stock because the day after I ordered it, I went back to the website to show my buddy what bike I got and it wasn't on the website anymore...not even listed as out of stock.

I just ordered the release three and it's supposed to be here in a couple days. My only question is I can't find any information anywhere about the hubs. Any chance you could respond and let me know what hubs they are?
Diamondback, can you guys put the bottle cage on the inside of the front triangle and maybe do some interior cable routing? I was considering one of your bikes but then I saw those things and I decided not to get one.
Serious question: what the heck is up with diamondback? A few years ago they came roaring in with a range of great value full sus bikes but have barely updated them. Did they fire their entire development dept? The bikes now really don't stand up to similar direct to consumer brands in terms of value or performance. I have four DB bikes in the family stable but for my most recent purchase they had nothing appealing. I ended up buying a Marin.
We're always working on some new things and think you'll be happy with some of our upcoming developments over the next few seasons. Thanks for that feedback and glad you love your existing DBs!
Wow, lovely bike - but how much plastic packaging/landfill? Does Diamond Back have a route forward to become a responsible & more environmentally friendly company?
Who cares... Planet earth already can't support the number of people on it and since Covid didn't thin the herd like it should have, a little extra trash isn't gonna hurt anything.
Yup. We're starting the process of looking into how we can make an impact. We can't promise it's something that will happen overnight, but we're joining forces with other organizations like People for Bikes to work through how we can be more responsible and sustainable.
Nice tutorial... I do wish bike companies would stop putting those cheaper white label Maxxis tires on their bikes... I’ve had the worst luck when them pitch-flatting in the first month of owning a new bike... including the Ripmo V2 I just got last month 😐
Eric has impeccable forearm blood flow.
Lol
Lol
lol
He works out 💪 lol
I love seeing Eric’s garage knowing Seth went to town on redesigning it
Man love the inclusion of a shock pump, fender and tubeless valves, all things that are super useful
Man some day I'll be able to buy a bike like this. It'd be a dream
Nice! I’m really liking my 2019 Release 29 2 in pistachio green. But that blue is looking really good
Good to se that the garage is still neat
Eric is so nice :) !
No cap

Yes, love new bike day!!!
Got the Release 2 29er (the light green one) back in May and absolutely love it!
I’m surprised it was in stock. I snapped my bike at the beginning of this year and had a really hard time finding anything in stock

@@theokayestmtber7877 yeah after a few months I found a good used one on pinkbike👍🏼
Crazy how many things Diamondback includes alongside their bikes, like the shock pump/genuine pedals etc
Thanks Eric - this video makes me want one
the frame matches the stand perfectly lol
I’ll take the tires, since we all know he is going to put Kenda’s on it
Lol 😝
ill take the brakes since we all know he will put on magura brakes
You don’t want those tires... white label Maxxis FTL

New sub here. Cool bike n all, bit that wood stove is pretty kickbutt. 👍
That bike is sick
I got the same one. i love it
The Kentucky Kid. Loves his Carolina Blue!! 👍💕👊🏻 “chainsaw emoji”
Man... I'm way to used to seeing Sam Pilgrim build his bikes with a brick and Channel lock pliers😂...
More companies need to ditch the internal routing! Nice job Diamondback.
May I ask why you feel that way?
If you build or work on your own bikes internal routing is a pain. I know it looks slick but it’s just not worth the hassle.
@@mrbyle1 Ah ok I see. Fair enough 👍
Nice bike 😍
Am i the only one that didn’t notice that this was diamondbacks channel and not Eric’s?
Yaeh nice color, Baby Blue🤣🤣🤣
Sorry, really nice bike👌
Me at 2 am watching a bike be assembled when I have to go to work in 6 hours to build bikes
It is so annoying to have to cut each individual zip tie thing that connects the rim to the hub, mine came with 32 on each wheel so annoying 😡🤬🙄
Mine only had 28, but it was still a pain to cut them! Argh!!!
I wish it is available here in the philippines

Yeah but if your in the UK there are no ways of getting a DiamondBack bike
hello Eric, do you prefer the aluminum over carbon?
Actually you don't always want fork arch on the front (manitou)
yep i own a manitou fork and people always ask if my fork is put in backwords
I don’t think diamond back ship with those forks.
most compenys dont its a lesser known brand
Hey can you get diamondback bike in europe?

Wait, this is a mountain bike channel? I thought this was one of those weight lift channels. Look at those forearms.
I'll take a DiamondBack frame, size medium
Your fork might actually have a little setup table right on it.
this dude got big meaty claws
Is it Maylo´s bike or yours?
Why no internal routing on these bikes! It's 2020!
It’s diamondback......
Your bike stand is the same exact color as the bike

@Imma clown Rift zone 3
I've been wondering about that. Seems like DB is pretty outdated when it comes to designs but maybe that's a niche they wanna hit for some reason

Is that for Milo?
No way, that’s a size large.
they need to make there bikes internally routed bc it looks shocking otherwise
Ayyy early gang

All Maxxis tires that are OEM on bikes are white label. White means they came with the bike. Yellow means you chose them yourself.
