@@mazie7952 Only if you’re high or delusional. The beaches in Florida are like the ones in the Caribbean, far more beautiful than the ones in California, where the sand isn’t white, the water isn’t clear or warm. California is way behind Florida and Hawaii in beach quality.

I am a native to Florida. I Florida there are lots of thunderstorms and occasionally tornadoes in the spring. We don't get hurricanes every year but when we do the most affected areas are coastal and on the panhandle bordering Alabama. Tampa hasn't been hit by a hurricane in almost 60 years. Miami gets hit alot but you will be safe unless your in a mobile home. Florida is also cheap and no state income tax. It is very hot due to humidity. But overall it's a wonderful place to live and if your from another country Miami is very culture friendly and diverse. I hope you find what your looking for.

Floods all over for days could not get out and nothing was open. All my food went bad and only place open was MC Donalds with a two mile line. The humidity is a killer. When it pours most of july and August the humidity gets worse. USHighway 19 is nuts with road rage and always accidents because they allow uturns on highways It would be ok for a few months in winter and beaches on West Coast Nicer then East Coast. Clearwater countryside has deer and beautiful birds but besides that not a place i enjoyed living not to mention horrible pay.
My daughter and her husband just moved there last week. She says MOM this place is amazing. NO vaccine mandates and Mask. US Flags everywhere and people are friendly. Once they mandate my workplace the vaccine. I'm moving there asap.
My family are going next week again 3rd year in a row . Got a lot of drone footage last year . Have plans on doing some photography again Cheers from tennesse

Ocean temperature here can reach up to 80° in the summer months and around the mid to low 70° in the "cold months "....it doesn't really get that cold here through.....paradise 🙏🙂🏖🌞

Big Pier 60 dosent look like it did in 1960! Jim Morrison used to hang out there in the early 60’s when he was going to SPJC in Clearwater during the time he lived at his grandparents house in Clearwater. By 1963 he had left Clearwater and was at FSU. He got arrested at pier 60, for being drunk there, on his return from his Florida trial in Miami. Then that same day he took off for his place in California. I think he stopped at pier 60 because of the many memories there. I spent many days/nights at that pier and beach during that same time. Might even have crossed paths w Morrison but didn’t know of him then. The arrest ticket never was paid and the previous governor of Florida rescinded it. Strange days for sure. Looks very different now. Liked it better then!
the best thing I did was move from this city nothing to do ill jobs, I live in Hallandale Beach Fl which is close to Miami and Hollywood Beach Fl the night life is great it's a lot of jobs that's available and paying good.

Florida seems like cleaner and infrastructure is maintained better than California. The beaches in both are very nice, but in Ca it has a very unique style. Btw, i highly recommend the beaches in Jersey shore, they are also great
Yes I have been to Clearwater and many Florida and California beaches. Jersey shore beaches rule like Ocean Grove ,Asbury Park, Spring Lake, Island beach state park and Cape may and Ocean City NJ. But too bad they have real winters! Florida has better winter weather and sand than California and California beaches are more fun! Or they used to be!
I lived in clearwater 15 yrs Ppl are rude summers are so humid you can roast cactus. Hoopla drama hurricane season. Prices are insane on rents. Large management companies charge market price no rent control. I liked to visit prior but to live no thanks.
I have found Florida to have much nicer sand than California but California is more fun (except for now with the tyranny unless Newsome leaves) Florida winter weather is better but California summer weather is much better!

It’s a lane for the lifeguard vehicle to get back & forth from the ocean. Emergency rescue, etc.
Its so clean either they spend a fortune on litter picking or the people there are much better about not dropping litter than here in UK
