This was such a helpful video Frank! Thank you for putting it together! I'm visiting Bogota in September and your video helped me with my lodging decisions
I liked how you divided the information and zonas as well as disclosing safe-safer areas to stay. I wish you have gone into more detail and giving info. about hostels.......places to stay for reasonable rates. Thanks Frank.
This is great! I’m going to be staying in the zona rosa area for 3 days. Can you tell me the top 5 clubs in the city? Also, is taxi the best way to go to la candaleria, montserrate, bolivar plaza etc?
@@COLOMBIAFRANK I heard that the Santa Fe area is good for single man I heard it’s not dangerous during the daylight but not to go there after dusk would you know what airbnb or hotel is close to that area that does not restrict the amount of guests I bring I plan to goto bogota soon
I'll be going to Bogotà for the first time in April, 2022 and staying at the San Sebastian Gay Hotel in Chapinero. (BTW, I loved the rainbow flag colored crosswalk!) What do you know about this hotel? I've read that it's within walking distance of the Theatron gay disco, but is it safe to walk at night? Any info you can provide will be much appreciated! ¡Gracias!
Theatron is one of my favorites bar to go (I'm not gay but it's super friendly) it's safe also cos I've always seen police officers all around the area

@@COLOMBIAFRANK of course bogota is like in the fridge, here cartagena the temperature is 24 ° C to 33 ° C, sometimes it stays here 22 ° C and it makes me shiver, bogota women there wear sexy bikinis at night I'm so amazed they can withstand cold temperatures bone piercing and not wearing a jacket 😯
@COLOMBIAFRANK Anywhere in Chico, zona Rosa or 93rd park.. So anywhere from 72nd st to 99th st, between carrera 15th and carrera 11th. It's the real Bogota, safest part and also the most developed, you'll feel like it's Erope and it's not far from all tourist spots, You will find Airb&bs at competitive rates compared to centro.. think of it like LA, the downtown, like skid row is horrendous, full of homeless people and drug addicts, full of graffiti, un maintained building and quite unsafe especially at night.
Thank you. This was very helpful. Thanks for the free guide as well.
You're very welcome!

Usaquen 💛💙❤️
It depends
It depends more profoundly (😨)in those other locations than in Usaquen ( except Zona Rosa /T) ….
“Dog shit” 😂
Don't stay in Candelaria, even if you are a backpacker there are better CHEAPER and safer options.
why? which areas would you recommend instead?
