    I love these earrings, They look so easy to make. My problem is always sizes of the beads. A size 10 here is different than the size 10 from a different country. It woulld be nice if there was a way to be sure of the size we should use cause I want mine to comeout as :) perfect :)

    • @BeautyBeadsLand
      @BeautyBeadsLand  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. I use Czech seed beads number 10, it has a size of 2 mm. Toho beads number 11 are also 2mm in size, and Delica Miyuki beads number 11 are also about 2 mm. The difference between them: Czech beads are slightly flattened, their width is slightly larger than their height. Toho beads are better in quality, they are also more round and more even. Miyuki beads are more square.

    I don’t have size 10 beads, so I’m using 11/0s - so tiny!
    I didn’t realize the thread was supposed to be all in one piece, so I started with one 1.5m piece, then had to tie a new piece when I started the face - it should have been noted to leave a 2m tail at the beginning. But the hat is done - and cute! - so far!

    • @BeautyBeadsLand
      @BeautyBeadsLand  ปีที่แล้ว

      oh i guess i missed that point to point out that the thread should stay in the ponytail for the beard..you can add the thread, tie in a knot or like i do in this video
      th-cam.com/video/zCqWUJUwpv4/w-d-xo.html
      Thank you! Good luck to you 🤞🍀💐

    • @barbarakennedy4186
      @barbarakennedy4186 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I did add thread, but that’s no fun, especially for a newbie!
      I finally finished him, after a few more challenges, like spilling whipped cream on him, and breaking two beads when the holes were too small for the thread to go through three times. I was able to sneak a replacement bead in one spot, and cover the other one - in his hatband - with a sprig of “holly.”
      Next time, I’ll use better beads, that are more uniform!
      Thanks for the tutorial!

    HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A PAIR

  • @AmberGrunow-dj9ui

    How do you tie the needle at the other end when you're starting the face?

    • @BeautyBeadsLand
      @BeautyBeadsLand  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      when we just start weaving, we pick up 4 white beads and stretch them along the thread. We leave most of our thread in the tail, so that we can then insert a needle into it and make the lower part of the santa. if the thread was left too short, then simply continue weaving with your working thread with which you made the upper part of the earring (that is, the cap). just pass the needle down through all the beads and make a face. If you cut off the thread of the upper part, then simply add an additional thread as in this video th-cam.com/video/zCqWUJUwpv4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=wp9ga2cr5kMdZoHV

      Ok so if you leave the majority of the thread for the tail, how do you actually attach the needle to the two loose ends?

      Hello. I have Czech seed beads number 10, its size is 2 mm. but you can use any beads (Toho, Miyuki, Delica), the main thing is that the beads are even and fit exactly in a row.

    • @BeautyBeadsLand
      @BeautyBeadsLand  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OK. it’s just that the cotton thread is not durable, it deteriorates and stretches faster, but it will last for several years), especially since these earrings will be worn only on New Year’s holidays)
