Sori I'm with you, I couldn't stand Sunday growing up my grandma and grandpa raised me, my grandpa didn't like going to church but my grandma had to, so when we went me and him left early and went back home so he could talk to me for hours and teach me how to play baseball really well as a kid.

I love System of a Down because a lot of the time they write songs that are about important topics (not all the time). I also like bands that are versatile (one song can be hard and then they can make a nice mellow ballad, or not all the songs sound the same). This song though wasn't sung by Serj Tankian, the usual singer, it was sung by Daron Malakian. I also love bands that aren't afraid to have to singers because each singer brings a different dynamic to a song (whether they sing in the same song or on their own in different songs). This song I think they felt they needed a soft voice to get their point across and Malakian was the right choice. I love this song as well because I can relate. I think the song is about breaking up and the day the breakup is the loneliest day. In specific I think the song is about when someone's girlfriend broke up with them when he was a kid and this is a kid writing a letter or talking to his girlfriend after she broke up with him. That's why the wording sounds a little childish "such a lonely day, should be banned". Maybe this was his first love when he was a young boy and she had to leave, her parents moved to another state and they couldn't be together anymore. That's also why he sings "if you go, I want to go with you, and if you die, I want to die with you. Take YOUR hand and walk away". Because he's saying I want to go with you but I can't because I'm too young. And at the end, he sings "It's a day I'm glad I survived" because she left and he's got through the loneliest first day without her. I'd like to see what you guys think about Manowar - Achilles, Agony and Ecstacy! Its a song about the battle of Achilles against Hector. It has a drum solo and guitar solo which are battles, and a acustic guitar solo which is the sorrow he feels mourning the death of his friend (what's my take on them).
