I think about these women a lot. To think in the world we live in nowadays 3 people can't just disappear and never be seen again. I have stayed up at night wondering what happened to them 😢😢
I truely believe if everyone just went forward and looked south of Springfield and did searches of these women south of Springfield someone would find something bc I truely believe that they were buried near a area where Larry Hall had buried 2 other women Cheryl Ann Kenny and Angela Hammond. I just know for a fact that all 5 of these women are buried somewhere outside of Reeds Spring Missouri within a 5 mile radius from it.
Strange how the police won't arrange for the small section of concrete to be dug up 🤔 and why won't the building owner do it as it's only used to store cleaning items 🤔 if someone famous was alleged to be buried there then they'd of dug it up in 5 mins! People should contact the state governor to complain, especially in the election year.
I like the idea of it being an election year and maybe getting results. I'm wondering if perhaps a Judge won't issue a warrant to dig it up because it's not believed that there is enough probable cause? State Police, if the local PD is suspect? Otherwise, in a perfect world, the hospital owners would consent to it being dug up, just for the family's peace of mind. Sad case.
Over a long period of time the motivations for not investigating the disappearance only add to the suspicion. There is no reason not to investigate in 2024. Cold case crimes are reviewed everyday and some are solved albeit years after the fact. I always ask why is one case more deserving of second look and find the answer comes back to someone wanting to protect the criminal or their kin. Its time to stop playing these games for the sake of the family of these women.

It could be just as basic a reason as expense too, as well as a cover up. The municipal budget for law enforcement and local government departments won’t cover the cost of an historic case like this unless there’s a huge push by any remaining relatives. It’s disinterest and that “what ever” mentality. They’d all be pushing the buck between each other too, saying it’s not their responsibility or department. A private company could investigate the car park, it’s privately owned i guess. But they’d want a huge fee too, it’s always about money, and this type of excavation with manual labour costs, equipment, expertise……it’d be very expensive. It’s so tragic though for the victims, they deserve to rest in peace and dignity.✌🏻🙏🏼

Very interesting video Lamont. I was living on the outskirts of Springfield Mo at the time of this case. That would become national news story, and a unsolved cold case.
Based on what little Lamont was able to say I suspect that the individual(s) involved have a great deal of political clout, if so this case will stay cold.
Thank you Lamont, for keeping this story alive! I've followed every detail of this story since its inception. I vividly remember when this happened. I visit their memorial in Phelps Grove Park every year in November on Cheryl's birthday. There has definitely been a cover up going on since day one. These women deserve justice and I hope they will be found and laid to rest ....thank you again!
I live here in Springfield ,was not aware of a memorial to these ladies ,i am definitely interested in going to the memorial so i can show my respects - i pray whatever happened wasn’t drawn out…
This still baffles me to this day. I watched these two girls graduate along with my brother and I’ve followed the story since. I am always praying they’ll find them one day.
Thank you for revisiting this case, Lamont. The simple fact of the red line is worth the revisit alone. That, as well as the clandestine source regarding the guilty party(s) made this trip worth while.
If I were a betting woman I’d say if one of those victims had been kin to a law enforcement official in Springfield that entire garage would have been dug up 30 years ago!
Lamont you should do the story on the Fort Worth missing Trio in Texas.. three girls went Christmas shopping on December 23rd in the 70s and disappeared and have never been seen again for 49 years😢😢😢😮
I'm from Springfield. My uncle was on the police force during this time. I don't know why but this case is truly awful and I doubt it will ever be solved. I can clearly remember seeing Stacey McCalls Mom at the local Harter House over the years. Everyone went up and spoke to her I did not because I felt like I would be bothering her. The haunted look on that woman's face was terrible. Springfield is corrupt unfortunately.
sad, I don’t think sex had anything to do with it. Drugs and money maybe. These women saw or heard something they shouldn’t have. The fact t hat there was broken glass on the porch makes me so,Nader. Whoever heard of three women going to breakfast, or any place else that they weren’t dragged away, leaving their purses behind! I wanted to things in the police were involved are they really screwed up their investigation. Could be both. The thing that makes it look the most respect. Is the fact that they have cordoned off the area so that no one can get there and do any testing or dig it up at this point why don’t they just do it up so they don’t look so guilty. That’s what I would do if I was the person that they were looking at and I knew they weren’t going to find anything I’d say dig it up clear me. If I had done it, I would be doing what they’re doing hiding it so no one can get into it you know, there is no such thing as beneficial than bad cops I’ve seen it firsthand!
Omg Lamont, I remember watching your original video of this story a few years back. I wondered then and I still wonder now WHY they haven't dug that area up? They deserve a proper burial. I feel so bad for the families. So crazy that you're back to talk about it!
Obviously an “ important person” or “persons” are involved. No way would a police department not dig up a possible scene of corpse involving a murder case!🤦♀I hope it does get exposed soon! Thank you for bring it up for the world to see! The poor families
I grew up near Springfield and then went to MSU in Springfield and lived there for a few years after and this case always haunted me. I’ve driven by the house and parking garage many times. Can’t wrap my head around why/how these women will never get justice.
I lived through this when it happened. It was the talk of the hospital because a groundskeeper for Cox Medical Center was Susie's boyfriend. He was arrested for grave robbing, and she was set to testify. I worked as a nurse, and policemen worked as guards there as a second job. One told me he saw the van in question parked by where they were going to pour the new highway the next day. It also runs behind Cox Hospital. That whole area was torn up to build the garage and extend the new highway. I saw Suzie with a crowd of kids at the Battlefield Mall the weekend before. She was very exuberant and loud, which is why I noticed her. Perhaps when they stopped to eat at a well known after hours restaurant that night, she drew attention to herself and Stacy.
@angelamadas-um6wr No, the policeman who mentioned it to me put a report in since he was a Spingfield policeman. He said he saw it when traveling from Cox South Hospital to Cox North Hospital that night.
@derklavierspieler7491 He did not go over the initial facts of the case. A green van was seen near their home. And they thought they may have been followed home from George's Restaurant. She may have drawn attention to them there with her exuberant personality and striking good looks. They were last seen there.
I don't understand why the family of these three women aren't pushing to get this area you just showed us uncovered? Perhaps you Lamont could find out the cost and have us your fans donate to finally unearth that area and settle this once and for all. I know I would be willing to donate and im positive we fans would donate so that these poor women can be finally laid to rest proper. I am so glad you keep this story alive. Bless you and all ..
I'm game on donating. But only through a trustworthy person or group who truly cares about these women and the 32 yr old disappearance. And...... it seems like something stinks in the Springfield Municipal system. I have a theory, if somebody wants to hear it. Even Lamont feels something about this whole aftermath isn't right. Let me know if this Donation starts through a reputable source.
That was a crime scene, and they cross contaminated it, and removed evidence! That poor little dog, if only thet could have understood what he was saying and or knew!
Family and friends who showed up at the house the next day had no idea the ladies were missing and that the house was a crime scene until later in the day. I lived in the area when this happened and nothing about it made any sense.
I'm thinking if it wasn't a cop, it was a relative of a cop. I just watched a more in depth video. I've seen things on this before but watched another one as a refresher. They had a prime suspect but have never arrested him for the crime. The daughter had also just broken up with her boyfriend and they weren't on good terms. Also, when friends and family discovered the house empty the following morning, they cleaned up the house and erased a lude message on their answering machine, so that the mother would not be upset when they thought she'd return. Which totally botched up evidence.
@@beth1627 Do you know if the upset boyfriend had any relatives in the police department? I think in a lot of unsolved cases, the police know who did it but they either don’t have enough evidence or they’re actively covering it up.
I am born in raised in springfield mo. I'm still here and I have always believed that's where they are. I have never understood why we don't just dig it up. Now if the rumor is true about a law enforcement connection and that person is no longer alive why not let it be uncovered? Unless someone else was involved who is still alive.
I know that the thinking here is the "blue wall" or whatever people call it; cops protecting their own. While that's a possibility it's also possible that there was no solid evidence for an arrest let alone a conviction. Okay, so the purported killer is dead now. That means no possibility of a conviction and without rock-solid evidence the authorities could end up looking bad for dragging a dead person's name through the mud. The thing to remember is that absolute proof of guilt or innocence is extremely rare. Even a confession doesn't necessarily mean the confessor did it as people often give false confessions for any number of unknown reasons. There are many famous cases where authorities felt they knew who did it. They just didn't have anything solid enough for an arrest.
This case has always haunted me. I graduated the same day as these girls. They would be my age today 😭 The local police are pathetic to not do this! The government MUST intervene! This has gone on for too long.
Same I graduated in 1992 🙋♀️I have always been interested in this case for that reason because I felt like I could be these girls. The excitement of graduation and having your whole life in front of you. It’s just so sad. 💔😢

So creepy, i live about 7 minutes away from where this happened and i remember it very well. Its left a huge scar on this city and obviously its a very sad case. I actually worked at the building right across the street from the house for about 2 years. I remember sitting outside smoking a cigarette on break when i looked across the street and i thought OH CRAP, THATS THE HOUSE. Working always felt awkward because i worked the nightshift but i had forgotten because about 12 years had passed. But never really forgotten.
I live in Springfield and was 24yrs old when this happened, and I actually lived a block away from the scene of the house. I have always thought it was over drugs. The mother was known for doing them. I also believe the police knew or knows a lot more than what they report.
Is that a true story that the mother did drugs or just a rumor? She bought her home so if she were doing drugs, she would have no money for a home. Is there proof she was doing drugs?
@@butterfliesarefreetofly6964 All drug addicts aren't broke. I'm A nurse i have worked for lots of doctors with nice paid homes and cars whom are also addicts😂😂
I'm from here and i remember this as a kid, there were so many rumors going around.. I've heard numerous ones of them buried under something being built at the time, poured in concrete.. one was a duplex near ozark, one of the cox buildings, and a couple other homes in the area.. other rumors involved a local drug dealer dating the mom and them being fed to pigs with a skull being found on someones property.. would be great if they could finally give closure to the families and friends

I couldn't imagine loosing a child and for thirty years never getting justice. Or worse never finding my child or spouse.
Thank you so much. ❤
Very interesting video Lamont. I was living on the outskirts of Springfield Mo at the time of this case. That would become national news story, and a unsolved cold case.
I learned about this case about 15 years ago. I have always been extremely intrigued and fascinated by it. Looking forward to the follow-up
Needs to be federally investgated
Based on what little Lamont was able to say I suspect that the individual(s) involved have a great deal of political clout, if so this case will stay cold.
The Feds are to busy letting murding drug trafficking illegals into the US
It is a state crime. Feds only handle federal crimes.

Great job, very interesting. Thank you for sharing 👍 I hope they dig this up someday for the families.
I'm in Springfield Missouri, this is a bizarre case most definitely 😢
Unbelievable 😮 I agree with you, and need to investigate more
I think your theory is right on the money. What an awful nightmare for their families!

Thank you for revisiting this case, Lamont. The simple fact of the red line is worth the revisit alone. That, as well as the clandestine source regarding the guilty party(s) made this trip worth while.

Thank you for your honesty, please be careful out there Lamont!❤
If I were a betting woman I’d say if one of those victims had been kin to a law enforcement official in Springfield that entire garage would have been dug up 30 years ago!

I'm from Phoenix .. moved to springfield mo almost 10 years ago. I 100% agree that springfield mo is corrupt AF
She was my dental hygienist in the kickapoo corner shoping center when I was young maybe 1995ish.
Omg Lamont, I remember watching your original video of this story a few years back. I wondered then and I still wonder now WHY they haven't dug that area up? They deserve a proper burial. I feel so bad for the families. So crazy that you're back to talk about it!
Stay safe out there, and rock on, Lamont! 💜✌
Thank you Lamont keep safe🙏
Obviously an “ important person” or “persons” are involved. No way would a police department not dig up a possible scene of corpse involving a murder case!🤦♀I hope it does get exposed soon! Thank you for bring it up for the world to see! The poor families

Sad, i was 19, in 1992 Thanks for sharing their story. I love the way you narrate stories ❤
I was only 1 years old!
I too turned 19 in 1992
Hearing about this case for sooo many years, thank you for sharing this so we can see it in person, as you said.
Have you gone to the police with this info? It makes total sense.
@angelamadas-um6wr No, the policeman who mentioned it to me put a report in since he was a Spingfield policeman. He said he saw it when traveling from Cox South Hospital to Cox North Hospital that night.
the Van has been discounted as something to do with this crime.@@ConfusedConservative
@@dawnbonner6497 Good to know.
@derklavierspieler7491 He did not go over the initial facts of the case. A green van was seen near their home. And they thought they may have been followed home from George's Restaurant. She may have drawn attention to them there with her exuberant personality and striking good looks. They were last seen there.
Lamont does a great job at telling these stories. Ty
Lamont. Thank you for covering this story. I live 2 hrs north of springfield and this has been a mystery.

I’m not surprised it was a cop, and cops won’t snitch on each other
I'm thinking if it wasn't a cop, it was a relative of a cop.
@@beth1627 wow I’ll have to watch more about it, that’s terrible
@@beth1627... So was it the two girls and the mother?? That disappeared. Or otherwise.
@@ChasingRainbows67 Yes, it was all three of them.

🙄
Cause the timing of when cox's parking garage was built, but still don't know why it hasn't been tested. I've also heard pfi parking lot etc etc

So creepy, i live about 7 minutes away from where this happened and i remember it very well. Its left a huge scar on this city and obviously its a very sad case.
