Engine Cylinder Inspection: What your Engine is Telling you

- I go through how to do an engine cylinder inspection to find out what your engine is telling you using a borescope camera. I also cover engine valve inspection without removal, looking through the spark plug hole. Also covered are: checking for engine build up, cylinder wall wear, as well as intake valve and exhaust valves; how to identify bent or burnt exhaust valves. Inspecting intake valves or exhaust valves is quite easy when you have a 90 degree view engine cylinder inspection borescope. Used in the video is the Depstech dual lens borescope or endoscope.

Any plans to inspect the internals of your engine? Hit me up! I've been testing a Liqui Moly product on a different car with build up. Will be posting content soon!
Yes.
Want to do mine soon.
2005 accord.
Having low power and oil loss.
Any pointers, please?
The latest video should help! My oil loss is now negligible. Your piston oil control rings maybe sticking. th-cam.com/video/9q2n-5FZvr4/w-d-xo.html
@@DIYAutoworksNG Okay.
Meanwhile, I inspected the cylinders today and found a burnt exhaust valve.
Also found a vacuum leak on my intake.
Now, time to deal with the oil control rings.
Many thanks.
Ouch. On the 500? Planning to replace the burnt valve?
@@DIYAutoworksNG Please what do you mean by "the 500"?
I have not made plans to replace the burnt valve yet. And I ain't fitted with that skill; yet... so it would have to wait, I guess.
A lot of info with just a peek. One or two surprise lessons for me here. 👍👍
Thanks, mate!
Glad to see our endoscope helps.
Yes it does. Thanks!
Really educative.
Lots of info here.
Thanks.
You're welcome!
