      And you Mar are one of my best students! I'm so proud of what ou have achieved with your hard work and dedication. I love our skate space in Alicante (not Valencia as I said in the video) and I wish I could be there to train with you in person. Keep skating and let us know how those suggestions for your practice and homework go, OK?

      Hola Mar.

    Asha is more than a great teacher. She never fails to teach the best quality tutorial. Watching this as I start again practicing from injury makes me motivated to be an advance skater. For now, I am learning the her basic tutorial about posture, how to move forward and how to stop. Thanks Asha and the team!

      Well done for now skating with professional instructions and investing in your skating journey and not leaving it to luck or chance. Everything is learnable and doable with structured steps and processes. Skating isn't easy despite it looking so when well done. Finding the micro improvements and celebrating those while keeping the frustrations and impatience at bay. This is part of the Jenny and makes us better humans to ourselves and others I think as we appreciate our efforts and the skills of others. Keep at it! You are getting there, one stride at a time.

      Gracias Mar.

    I'm seeing this as a comfortably intermediate skater and it's so incredible how you can instantly identify and prescribe what changes need to happen! I figured out the movement thru trial and error and my method was just so incredibly inefficient and stochastic!

    • @SkatefreshVideos
      @SkatefreshVideos  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Skating is SUCH a technical sport and so many parts of the body that need controlling and doing the correct thing at the right time. It's complex, it's no wonder new moves take most people a very long time to learn when self-taught. I always recommend skaters try and get instruction whether its online or in-person as this really does save precious time and make for faster more efficient learning.

      Yes I'm sorry I said "Valencia" in the video, I got confused. What a fantastic place you have there to skate, looks perfect! I'm jealous. The UK isn't as god as Spain for skating.

      You can do it! Don't judge the time it takes, just be in the moment and focus on what you're doing and time will become irrelevant. That's one of the joys that skating gives us.....a relief from the burdens of normal time. Enjoy the process. Gold lies there.
