  • The History You Didn't Learn is a series that sheds light on past events that may have been omitted, misleading, or just downright wrong in our history education in school. In this episode we take a look how women and minorities are often left out of the labor movement in history and highlight the lives of two latina labor leaders.

Wow I’m black but I know Latina,s we’re treated bad like my ancestors but I had a hard time finding their history. I’m glad to have found this hopefully I’ll find more.

So you are black and that separates you as a category from Latino? LOL! There are millions of Latinos who have far more of a right to call themselves black than you do.

As a black woman, I am honored to learn this history! It is about time. Now how about Time funding a campaign to make this history mandatory in U.S. schools!

2023 book. Teaching white supremacy by Donald Yacovan. They stopped teaching white supremacy in pubic schools 1776-1965. Due to Martin Luther king and Malcom X.
