This is such an interesting specimen! Everything from her preservation to her discovery is a story I can listen to over and over. What sort of work is being done on her at the moment? I know you said that you were hoping to find surface features indicative of soft tissue, but is that soft tissue facial skin, muscle, or perhaps something else? I know there was a study done on a new Daspletosaurus species about facial soft tissue. Are you perhaps hoping to reaffirm or disprove their findings by looking at other tyrannosaurs facial structures? Thanks so much, and good luck on whatever comes your way!

Could you do some videos on some dinosaur specimens from Dinosaur Provincial Park?

Will there be a video or posts about Sue? It's such a magnificent T-Rex with an amazing skull. Will be able to maybe find more information about its life and maybe help settle the mystery of its cause of death?

If you're wondering about a WitmerLab video, like a Dissecting with Emily vid, no, we did't have time to shoot one. Too much work to do! Maybe next time! Indeed, there are many questions about Sue and we're hoping to provide some answers...or at least to shed some light!

Will you release any information about what your research learns from Sue?

We'll no doubt release some information, probably on the WitmerLab Facebook page and/or Twitter, but some of our findings-and our major conclusions-will be saved for publication. It's sort of how these things have to work...major findings and conclusions should be subject to peer review.

Will you also announce on your media pages about the publications? That's great you will post this stuff, and I really am looking forward to what you discover. I have heard so much about your work from Dinosaur George, which makes me very fond of your work. And also am very fascinated by Sue. So this very exciting!
