why did you change chimney caps from the original that came with it

The original reason was because the original caps always swung open when you lift the lid. And if you don't pay attention to it your temps go off the charts. Thanks for watching

Yes it will replace the daisy wheel on the BGE.and I do think it is better.It won't rust or corrode and you can keep the vent open and no water will get in.(if it is out in the rain)
