This is just an overcomplified version of just patching a hole Go ask a builder and they will fix the job in 15 minutes and in a couple hours you can sand it repaint it you don't need to wait two days but for a quick and easy job it is handy
I'm gonna guess this patch is significantly cheaper than paying someone else to do it. Actually I'm 100% sure, most of these contractors are charging way too much and then end up doing a worse job than you could do yourself
@ no man, guaranteed pros would do a much better job. Because you still have to sand it and paint it. This is meant for small jobs where you don’t care if it doesn’t look perfect and don’t want to pay for a pro to come and do it.
These are designed for at home fixes cuz in the end most people would rather spend $40 on a replacement patch that they can do themselves and then just wait for it to dry then spend a few hundred dollars to have a professional come in and replace the drywall the point of this is a cheap and easy at home fix that anybody can use even if they have zero experience with it
@ uh no. You just get a big ass container of putty and it can patch every wall in your house for like the same price vs this kit that patches one hole and takes up to 2 days
I think the whole point of the product is that people who don’t fix stuff can just buy this from the shop and put it on. A lot of lazy people don’t won’t to go to the hardware store
Even a bigger hole, take a piece of drywall make a California patch. The hardest part is the sanding and repainting it to match. But it doesn’t take almost two days
It would require an Intercontinental ballistic missile to barely make a scratch on the wall here in Pakistan, which can be fixed perfectly with a bit of white or regular cement. So yeah, no need for that here.
We save money by not having the inside walls built with concrete. It also helps insulate with our colder climates as well as being able to run electric wires easily through the gaps between. We also don’t need to protect from missiles because WE DONT HAVE A WAR GOING ON HERE
@@SicksSens3 "save money" and it still costs as much as a cement house lmao I can't believe I'm actually seeing someone defending paper walls because iv always seen people hate them even the ones which live in them
Bro I don’t know why America has paper walls dude in Germany when you hit the wall your hand feels like you just hit a hard concrete block I don’t know what they are made out and maybe it is concrete
So, I always thought american houses were made of paper as a way to save on costs in case of natural disasters that destroy many houses. But if that's not it, what is stopping people from building actual houses?
Seems most people in this comment section are stupid. This isn't a product for those who know how to do it and have the absurdly expensive material to fix it themselves, it's for the people who don't know how to fix it and do not have the absurdly expensive material to fix it.

I’d rather my landlord did this instead of some things I’ve seen elsewhere

Building maintenance guy here. I rarely ever get to return in 1-2 days. Repairs need to be finished (sanded, painted) in less than an hour.
That's the thing. The idea is to cut out having to call someone and just doing it yourself.

This is literally made so i don’t have to call someone like you
Exactly. Which is what 20 minute mud is for.
Applying spackle and sanding is super easy. You don't need a gimmick, you don't need professional training. I learned to do it before I was 10.
The EASIEST wall repair, that does the same thing as traditional; but is a one time use🤯 GENIUS!
and takes a whole day to set up... When we need it to set up within an hour or two....
Uhhh 24-48 hours?? I’d rather use a spackle and just do the job in like 15 minutes
but its more expensive

@FelixRafael-e6show? You can get a bag of 20 minute mud for extremely cheap
Maybe he will someday make it better so you don't need to wait so long
After 15min it will not be sufficiently dried.
You can rip this thing off after 15min as well, just will not have good results lol
I really like the guy but the product … splackling is already pretty easy …
I think the whole point of the product is that people who don’t fix stuff can just buy this from the shop and put it on. A lot of lazy people don’t won’t to go to the hardware store
europeans confused💀
Everyone could relate that you punched the wall a little to hard after a argument with your mom
In what world is that easier than just putting some mesh tape down and spackling over it plus you have to spread a good bit to not notice a patch.
Even a bigger hole, take a piece of drywall make a California patch. The hardest part is the sanding and repainting it to match. But it doesn’t take almost two days
This is good for people who don't want to pay for a prefessional and don't mind the 24-48 hour wait.
Don’t forget getting a professional to come out itself takes at least a few days
All the landlords about to go crazy about this

This is basically just gypsum which is plaster
If you do it right with regular spackle and tools shouldn't need to sand.
Or you bild houses out of long-term materials and not paper. Especially on the continent with the most hurricanes.
Goes to show just how much of set up this show is!!
Even quick dry pottery dust works better sadly

plaster and 3 h and sand ?

try on a gearman wall

I can do that work in half that time and make it look 10 x better
