“U-turns to avoid traffic signals, ensuring uninterrupted traffic flow, were first introduced by the trio of Coimbatore Police Commissioner, Mr. V. Balakrishnan, Traffic DC, Mr. N. Mathivanan, and Highways DE (Traffic Safety), Mr. G. Manuneethi, in Coimbatore. This initiative has proven to be highly successful.
Witnessing the success in Coimbatore, Mr. Manuneethi was invited to Chennai to introduce U-turns in two locations, yielding successful results.

Cbe Corporation and City Police should ensure that adequate Parking spaces are arranged by the Commercial establishments. Issue starts when customers park the vehicle in the main road to reach the shops.

Hello sir,
U turn practically not to put up in singanullr junction due to
Trichy to kamarajar travelling vehicle will join traffic flow towards singanallur road, more over metro buses as well Town bus join into traffic flow towards singanullr.
Kamarajar to trichy Road travelling vehicle also join singanullr junction.
So that traffic flow up jamed as well very slow moving from child trust.
Now a days very hard to cross singanullr it took around 30 minutes at 4.30 pm on 4/2/24. My office locate at vadakovai so daily travelling route ondiputhur to vadakovai its too good.
But while returning home vadakovai to ondiputhur its is very horrible, due to jam packed traffic as well petrol consumption is too highly.
Kindly look into this matter.

Why not doors to be installed for the buses to avoid unlimited passengers getting into bus and standing in steps????
