It's one of hardest concept to understand about English language. However, it's useful to find someone who explains in Italian rules and exceptions, above all if live in Italy and Knows well what are the more frequently mistakes Italians make. Thanks Joe 😊👍

I love learning English, especially I love to learn English with you! Thank you for your great job 💪

Hi Joe! First of all thanks for these funny and very useful videos. I noticed that a good use of prepositions denotes a very good knowledge of a language. Even your good "pugliese" sometimes miss the right preposition... Forgive me if I suggest a correction of something that was misleading when I first listen to it: your translation of "I can't forget seeing them" is "non posso dimenticare di vederli" but it should be "non posso dimenticare di averli visti", the first is an intention "I have to remember to see them" while the second is a memory.
Just wanted to share this with you, thank you again for your good work!!

You go crazy with it! )))
Thanks Jo, as always, for your very interesting lesson!

"I always loved hearing him when he played piano" and "I loved to hear him play piano last night" possono essere tradotte con "Mi piaceva sempre ascoltarlo suonare il piano" e "Mi piacque ascoltarlo l'altra sera suonare il piano"?
Inoltre. "Why don't you stop smoking?" e "Why don't you stop and smoke a cigarette with me?" si traducono con "Perchè non la smetti di fumare?" e "Perchè non ti fermi a fumare una sigaretta con me?"
    Grazie infinite

About the use of "ing form" and "to + base form" I dare you suggest that in general, ing form is used for repetitive actions and to + base form when we mean single actions.Do you agree with me, Jo?
