Mr Rowe what have you done. These storys you offer i saw as light and enjoyable once or twice a week. It is now a drug that is important in my life, I now Craaaaaaaave for the next instalment. A week is too long Mr dealer of drugs😮, i need my hit. Top job and, as ussual, perfect synergy. Thank You.

@@bewarethegreyghost Thanks, Grey Ghost! I do my best to when I can, both because I enjoy conversing with readers/listeners and because I think it's important. If someone takes time out of their day to acknowledge me, insofar as it's humanly possible to respond to everyone and still have time to write the next story, I intend to keep it up. It means a lot to me when people reach out 🙏❤❤
Mr Rowe, this is a respectful request. Please may we have the lights on for this one? Seriously, I'm stopping now and waiting for daylight . When you decide to write dark, you reach for that ol' coal pencil, no questions. Surprised? Not at all. We've had some grim ones before; you're not afraid to make it real. This one? Phenomenal storytelling, Powerful, gripping. As always, I'm completely lost in the listening. Its just...well... now the shadows in my room seem to be watching me. Love you even more Mr Rowe,Sir.
i thought of lord of the flies for a bit , but darker because of the god in control, also briefly i thought does the artifact look anything like a big red phone booth perhaps? but dismissed it as being too silly.
Cheers, MrIzzy! Re: Jendi as a name, I had written Last Horizon and one of the main character's nicknames is Jobby. Sometimes I strive for a name that I haven't heard that sounds like a name you could hear, and that was one, and then I heard a mother say to her son at an Ice Cream counter in the town I lived, "Jobby, get over here. What do you want?" while ordering. It was probably within a few months of me finishing the first draft of that book. The universe sometimes has funny ways of talking to us.
@@RoweLit well it fit well. Sci-fi should have some new names. I thought Yaya was new too but i just watch Brazil v USA and Brazil had a player named Yaya. This whole story was great I was grabbed by the the noise the leader Xen made proclaiming Yaya was broken - how do you spell that seizure like sound?
Ah, there you are, you ancient hustler. We've been wondering when you'd be outed. Whisps, whispers and warnings have been leading us to this moment. Now, I worry for Ship. Of course, I'm assuming this is history, not possibly an awful future to circumvent. The wizard spins his web back and forth through time, weaving us all, mesmerized, into his long and winding tale.
@RoweLit With the way you twist and turn in these stories I don't have a sure idea. It's what makes listening so much fun. Excited to see where it goes!
The first half of this reminded me of experiences that I had growing up in the '70s.The second technology half was just budding back then. Thank you for this Misfits story. Cheerio.
I totally missed what Micon is/means! I was really enjoying the story until the last sentence because I don't know what it means! Should I start again?
Hi, Briar! Thanks for your comment. Maicon is an AI character in this ongoing series. He gets referenced earlier in the story, but it's probably not all that easy to put that piece together with the events that unfold through the rest of the story. I do my best to make each chapter self-contained, but it's impossible to make them totally self-contained. Last year, I put the first season of Misfits together into a book, and I intend to do the same this year as well, but before I do that, I'm going to do a series recap video so that people can catch up quick. That's coming in the next few months. If you're interested in the whole series, you can check out the playlist and jump in wherever you think is best: th-cam.com/play/PLWl-Jc_I2wPAsngY7MCID9sS_98Y2siT5.html&feature=shared Glad you enjoyed jumping into these deep waters!

Believe me, if I could go any faster, I would. Appreciate your patience 🙏
Oh. I will say this again. Your character development is great BUT even someone like me that has been w you a long time I can forget each character. I do think you should give a background for each character (a little) to rekindle who these people are. To a new listener they will have no idea who these great characters are. If you want to grow your channel you have to appeal to the new listener. Give them a small background of the characters. Vote Trump. :p smile!
Thanks, Ed! Someone suggested a brief recap, and I like that idea for those who desire it. That'll be coming soon. I do have analytics on the stories, so I have a sense for retention vs. new readership. People are surprisingly adept at stepping into a story mid-stream and picking things up. This often gets underestimated. Thanks for your feedback 🙏😃
