That Steeler Defense MEANT business! Alexander was a shell of himself at this point but still, to be shutdown like that?! Wow! 2007 was a fun & exciting year of Steelers’ football. With Halo 3 fresh out, TH-cam in its infancy stage & Mike Tomlin’s first year - it was a wild year. I used to get beyond excited to watch these games with my family as a kid. Don’t forget to like & subscribe! The season never ends in Yinzburgh! 🖤💛
I was in middle school around this time halo 3 was mine and my friends go to game after a Steelers game oh how u miss the good old days I'm now 27 years old
@iTz Jesse James Honestly I don’t remember I think it had something to do with it head-to-head contact and I also believe that Hitting a defensive receivers was another one … He was putting them to sleep night night…..
Took the Seahawks 3 games at Heinz Field to score a point. They got shut out 2 straight games in Heinz (07,11) and wouldn't score a point there until 2019
They’re Oline with 2 HOFs got dominated especially in the redzone and had to hold haggans which inevitably lead to the end of the game when Matt took a sack then INT to Ike. It’s mostly just Steeler haters who bandwagon the crowd the big calls were Ben’s TD and Jackson’s push off which were correctly called.
Yeah out of the 4 calls that people complain about 3 of them are the right call. The only bad call was on the tackle after the interception, and I don’t think that affected the result of the game at all.
I've been a rabid Steelers fan since the mid 60's. But I have to admit that two questionable calls helped the Steelers a great deal. It is not "cheating," per se, but it sure puts a tarnish on the trophy. The zebras are human, and as we have learned, video replay is unreliable, too. The breaks usually even out. Think "Jesse James' non-catch" against the Pats.
Bro idk how u find and make these videos but seeing these videos reminds me how much I love the steelers. I use to record all the games on VHS but those days are gone.
The Seahawks should have learned from the Steeler's playoff game against the Colts how to properly respond when you think you've been jobbed by a bad call. When Polamalu's interception got incorrectly overturned, giving the Colts a second chance that they capitalized on to score a TD, our D got so ticked that on the Colts' next "drive" they lost 16 yards on 4 plays. I still remember Joey Porter yelling "Cheat that!" after the turnover on downs. THAT'S how you respond if you're a winner.
Take away the big return on Bens Interception in the SB with the return that set up their TD. Holmgrens Offense did nearly nothing in 2 games against Steelers.
The defense was on fire and Davenport and Wilson helped the offense stay sharp. A great season until the Wildcard. The future looks bright in Pittsburgh, Here We Go Yinz!!
Even if the call wasn’t made it wouldn’t have changed the game so much that the Seahawks would’ve won the score would have been mildly different if not the same
Man. Ben was a beast but I feel the earlier yrs the refs didn't know how to scope him. They allowed him to take too many beatings that they'd never let Brady take. I can't know Brady but Ben was definitely jobbed a couple games because of his size.
For the only time ever, Ike Taylor showed good hands on that pick right before the half. 19 times out of 20 that ball would have clanked, but on that one Ike looked like Deion.
HEATH MILLER was a monster. I watched the Superbowl Steelers vs. Seattle the other day. Steelers always been my team. But, in my opinion. Ben didn't score a TD. Just my opinion fellow Steelers faithful. Don't bite my head off. Lol. Love the videos bro.
He did though he broke the plane while he was still in the air if you pause the video at the right time you'll see it people just complain because after the play was over he got knocked back in Mid air and landed short of the end zone but the play was already over before he hit the ground
I’ve seen videos where you can’t tell if the ball crossed and I have seen other videos where you can see the tip of the ball break the plane. I guess it all depends on the definition of the video.
It's usually not unless by pure coincidence. The defending champs usually play the first game but the only one I remember actually being a Super Bowl rematch was 2016 when the Broncos opened up against the Panthers. Since then the kickoff game has been Patriots-Chiefs (2017), Eagles-Falcons (2018), 2019 was Packers-Bears for the league's 100th anniversary celebration but we played the Patriots and got demolished, Chiefs-Texans (2020), and Buccaneers-Cowboys last year.
Could never stand Matt Hasslebeck. He was like that girl in high school who always thought she was better looking than she actually was, and acted like she deserved to be treated like royalty. ....but unfortunately, she was the ONLY one who thought that. He was an average at best QB his entire career, but had this attitude like he was elite. No Matt....youre best remembered for telling refs you were going to score on an OT coin flip, and then immediately threw a pick 6 to lose the game. Thats your legacy.

Those Dick Lebeau defenses were a work of art.
Man was Ryan Clark underrated. Guy could hit too! Half his hits back then would be penalties today.
They change the rules because of him
@iTz Jesse James Honestly I don’t remember I think it had something to do with it head-to-head contact and I also believe that Hitting a defensive receivers was another one … He was putting them to sleep night night…..
Underrated because he played alongside Troy.
Took the Seahawks 3 games at Heinz Field to score a point. They got shut out 2 straight games in Heinz (07,11) and wouldn't score a point there until 2019
This was my first Steelers game at Heinz field. Total domination. I almost felt bad for Seattle. Almost.
Ain't nothing special
Mine too! It was my 50th birthday present from my better half. We had a blast!
I hate when people say they cheated for us to win that SuperBowl i rewatched that whole game and we beat them fair and square

What u expect them to say lol
And I have a video of PROOF that Super Bowl 40 wasn’t rigged

Ahhhhhh Heath Miller...the Gentle Giant!
Mr Reliable no doubt
Great defense, but this was the beginning of bens backyard scrambles. And boy i miss those days, so many blitz packages, and ben just shakes it off.
RIP #53 - Clark Haggans, you will be missed
Bro idk how u find and make these videos but seeing these videos reminds me how much I love the steelers. I use to record all the games on VHS but those days are gone.
A gentleman offered me a box full of VHS tapes of Steelers’ games but got lost in my emails months ago
That defense was rocking 👍
Bro games like this we use to impose our will on mf's. Our O-line back then use to throw mf's out the club especially when we had Faneca and Hartings.
Seattle's would-be revenge for getting "robbed" in XL didn't turn out the way they wanted.

Forgotten player by me. WR Willie Reid.
The defense was on fire and Davenport and Wilson helped the offense stay sharp. A great season until the Wildcard. The future looks bright in Pittsburgh, Here We Go Yinz!!
Heath Miller what a durable player
Even if the call wasn’t made it wouldn’t have changed the game so much that the Seahawks would’ve won the score would have been mildly different if not the same
Wow, what a nostalgic game, thanks ITZ, U THE MAN!!!!
THIS is what happens when you cry about losing because of cheating and it being rigged. You got beat. Deal with it.
all steeler fans should listen to Adam here because so many make it sound like it's so simple for Omar to get Aiyuk when it's really not.

@@markfirestorm4967 , I'm going to go and watch it again. I've watched it over and over. Lol. But, I will go back and watch it again. Lol. ✌️
@@markfirestorm4967 , Okay I saw him in the air but it's hard to actually see where the point of the ball was.
I’ve seen videos where you can’t tell if the ball crossed and I have seen other videos where you can see the tip of the ball break the plane. I guess it all depends on the definition of the video.
The issue wasn't really whether or not he scored. It was called a touchdown on the field and their wasn't sufficient evidence to overturn it.
Ryan Clark is a damn missile.
You know this is old when Joe Buck actually made short jokes
15 seconds of fame for Willie Reid! If you blinked...
Oh yes...2007. One of the years Ben should have or could have won MVP. unfortunately Brady had that monster year in 2007 to spoil it for Ben.
Yinz, sorry it took me 22 hrs to watch, I'll be I better supporter in the future. 👍😊
You’re all good :) I’m taking a day to make the next video anyway, so it’s all perfect timing
21 - SKUNK PASS THE STICKS!
So here’s a question for people - how much of being able to develop receivers was due to Richard Mann? They seem to have regressed in that area since.
So, neither Lynch or Omar will budge right now with the negotiations. We'll see how long this carries out and if either side budges
Good. I for sure do not want them to trade Pickens and it would not be smart money wise for the steelers
Boy whatever happened to the first game of the new season being the Super Bowl rematch? Am I misremembering or wasn’t that the way it always was?
It's usually not unless by pure coincidence. Seattle should just be thankful we didn't pound them like this in the Superbowl.
Why haven’t the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Poona Ford, he’s better than any NT in the draft and proven?
The steelers and Ben only got better since that superbowl....
We just beat the brakes off the seahawks like we always do lol..cheated 🤣

And this was only one year after that super bowl. February 2006. But sure, the Steelers cheated.
