Jackie, this is a beautiful story especially when it came to finding Christ. I, being raised a Christian and going to church practically my whole life, this inspired me to try and get closer to our Lord. It's a struggle for me and watching/listening to your story, it made me realize that He gives us situations He knows we can get through it by praying. I've basically struggled with my faith but one thing was I never stopped believing in Him! At a time in my life, I even stopped going to church. I had watched this at 4:00 in the morning (why I was up that early? I don't know) and tears streamed down my face hearing you talk about what you've been through, especially with your depression. I remember that year. I'm so glad you found Jesus because He is our Rock & forgave us for our sins. You are a beautiful soul & I know you will continue to bring the word of God & your faith within this channel. I know this channel never started out with faith, mainly beauty, and fashion but you keep doing what you are doing. In 2014, it was a tough year for me and I was feeling down. But during that summer, I came across your channel and absolutely fell in love with how positive you were. I believe God showed me your channel to show me to stay positive. Jesus never gave up on you, and when you were lost and under spiritual attack and hurting, he looked for you to heal just as you looked for the injured Zoey. I tried many churches before too. I never felt I fit.i quit going for years & felt like I left God. I dove in to depression due to personal things & being in an abuse marriage. I have scars on my face from being punched. A girl at a store says those are not scars of shame but scars of survival. I contemplated suicide daily. Does it still cross my mind yes.I look in the mirror and say " what's wrong with me"? God says you're ok. But I couldn't see it. I just have to believe in ME!! I have a rescue cat, My cat saves me every day. Who rescued who. 🐾🐅!. I'm not pathetic. I'm just emotionally struggling. I'm proud to struggle, cause I made it!!!!! It's still hard but I try every day.🙏 Jackie! I am so proud of you for opening up sooo much, I was crying cause I can relate. I've never done physical harm to myself but emotional self destruction. Jackie-Yes, there's someone out there in the same arena.you are helping!!! You are not alone & I'm not alone.. anymore. God will never let you get your back against a wall. ( My aquaintence at my medical group told me that.) Let me say this to The Flower Family. Even if you don't understand or feel you can't relate to the person struggling. you can help more than you think you can by just bring in their life, -DONT ABANDONE them, just because you can't relate or understand. It’s weird how animals can help us through things, isn’t it? I was heavily depressed as well, contemplating suicide, and just in the darkest place I’ve ever been. I adopted my BonBon 🐱 and my parents tell me they noticed the change instantly. I’ve had some episodes since, but it’s like she just knows and is always there to comfort me. I don’t know what I would do without her.
I remember the feeling after getting baptized too! It felt awesome, like I had a clean slate in my soul. I went through spiritual attacks i.e. sleeplessness and discouragement. Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. But, When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. Because of his grace he made us right in his sight and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. Titus 3:3-7 I cried so much when the self harm part came up. Jackie you are so strong for sharing your story with us. I know it must of been hard for you to do that because of it being such a personal story. I know how vulnerable you must of felt because it's never easy sharing such personal things to not only the little flower family but to millions here on TH-cam. I may not understand what you went through but I do know that because of what you went through it has made you stronger as a person but also stronger in your walk with God. I am 58 and have been living alone since my divorce in 2001. I am now in a season of loneliness. I have also thought about the same things as you did but although I cry everyday I still pray every morning and before bed and I love and believe in God and I know he is with me. What makes it difficult is I no longer have a car and my children are all adults. I have disabilities and now that my car is gone because it was totaled in Jan I can’t even get to church. I have to look online. It helped me so much to watch your videos about bible study. I have been a believer for many years and raised my kids in church. It’s hard not easy but I keep hope and faith that things will get better. I have two fur babies that I thank God are also in my life!!! You inspire me so much. I could so relate to your story, and thank you for sharing so honestly, a rarity even amongst many believers, only in truth can we help each other, not in appearing to have it all together which if we’re struggling ourselves, can make us feel inadequate and isolated. I am now in my 70’s knowing and believing Jesus as my Saviour for over 40 years, with many awesome God experiences to testify, but for many years of my life I have suffered deep depression, mainly brought on through a childhood trauma and from choices I’ve made. I have prayed for many years to belong in a loving church community, staying at one church for eight years, but always feeling on the outside, but kept going because I thought I should! I cry to God to send something, someone, into my life, and as you say, God know what means we need to be reached, to lift me into His light and ignite His Holy Spirit in me again. Your story is a real inspirational for many, and know God is close and will never leave me nor forsake me, and through my relationships with Him, I will overcome again. Recently found your channel as I started to read the bible a few months ago, love your spirit. Been binging you lol and love hearing your story and been enjoying your bible studies. Many times I would go to Christian churches, I always felt an overwhelming feeling of crying too. Now with my son, I want to have a stronger connection with God.

I know how you feel this is how I'm starting to feel especially since I've been starting to believe in Christ. Since i've gotten sober i lost a lot of friends. I decided to let these friends go because I am trying to gain a closer relationship with God and also they still drink. I feel very numb inside.

I have prayed for many years to belong in a loving church community, staying at one church for eight years, but always feeling on the outside, but kept going because I thought I should! I cry to God to send something, someone, into my life, and as you say, God know what means we need to be reached, to lift me into His light and ignite His Holy Spirit in me again. I came from the vlog. I normally watch these videos first, but today was different. I am sure Jonny didn’t mean it was uncomfortable because of what you’re talking about. For a long time I have always had this call to try and get closer to you as a friend. Mama.... I sat everyday watching your videos and I knew something was wrong. I just felt it in my soul. I wanted to reach in the screen and give you a hug. I have felt your pain and confusion, and I will forever be here for you. My soul sister - God has placed you in these situations for reasons only He understands. With every situation....you have come out stronger! Recently found your channel as I started to read the bible a few months ago, love your spirit. Been binging you lol and love hearing your story and been enjoying your bible studies. Many times I would go to Christian churches, I always felt an overwhelming feeling of crying too. Now with my son, I want to have a stronger connection with God.

I was brought up Catholic as well but fell out of going to church, it brought a certain situation to happen to me. I found Christ again and started going to a similar church as you. I felt like I was missing something in my life and it was Jesus Christ. I was baptized as well and have accepted Christ as my Savior.

I know how you feel this is how I'm starting to feel especially since I've been starting to believe in Christ. Since i've gotten sober i lost a lot of friends. I decided to let these friends go because I am trying to gain a closer relationship with God and also they still drink. I feel very numb inside.
