The back drop outside the half way house made me laugh and the way that girl walked out of the halfway house I think she tripped over the scenery. I love this show I’ve watched it over 5/6 times from start to finish and it never gets boring. Love 💕 from London uk 🇬🇧.
That scene where Ted Douglas does the speech has to be one of Prisoner's best scenes ever. I loved the way they all got to show different reactions - embarrassment, amusement, awkwardness. Brilliantly acted and brilliantly directed.
That and Beas impersonation of a cackling witch in the early 200s. Madam DeVarge = the woman who knitted a lot and watched the executions back in the 1600s. She must of been a secret wicca...or just had a kink for people being beheaded. 🩸😵⛏️
Two and a half times around I suddenly realized I love the way Margo mimics the way some of the other women talk. she mimicked Lizzie's voice when she was talking about Patty and she did a similar thing when they were discussing bashing Joan and Mouse made a comment "what am I going to do". she's cute when she does that.

Wentworth is realistic violent and was gripping. Love prisoner and some of its characters but Wentworth wins with realism and a structured story.
So Ferguson wants the concert to fail. And why....? There's no real motivation beyond "because Ferguson is evil". At least when Vera tried to stop things from happening there was an underlying principle.
Where's that woman with all the bird cages disappeared to in the halfway house? And Francine and her mate? One minute they were all there, the next....gone.
There's a scene a bit later where Margo climbs up onto a table and says: "It's a screw, I've found it!" and then falls (somewhat unconvincingly) off the table. It is priceless! Another is the scene where she shuts a claustrophobic girl in a cupboard and they start "fighting" whereas it looks more like they are tickling each other!

Ah, Viv Davies as Shirley Halliday from the Child Protection Society. In this episode, we see a more charming and civilised version of the actress in comparison to the character of Wendy Stone she portrayed in later episodes. Shirley arrives at the newly named 'Driscoll House' to offer advice and assistance to Maxine Daniels over the ill treatment of a minor. Way to go Miss Halliday!

Dempsters husband is a real piece of work, and he deserved what he got. He took Sally for granted, loved money more than his own family, and couldn't even give her the basic dignity and companionship she desperately craved. He could see what it was doing to her, and rather than accept responsibility, he just blamed her. She should have thought more about her daughter before turning to drink, but she was in a really difficult position. It's no wonder she snapped.
Sally should have been warned about how the women feel about kid bashing. Margo always was a coward, though, who never seems to be able to take on her target without backup. Trust Douglas to make an idiot of himself in public. He doesn't need to have a few too many though in order to sound dumb because his true nature takes care of that.... It's a shame Tony and Maxine didn't stay long. Thought they'd have been a good comedic double act. Especially around the Halfway house.Didn't take to Maxine at first but warmed to her post the childminder storyline and Tony is very handsome 😊, I think he is quite modern looking visually and could see him rocking up in Eastenders as he was in these episodes. If you know what I mean.

According to Betty Bobbit, Sheila was in a concert with them in real life, Back when Gerard McGuire was still there, Betty, Sheila, Jane,Val, Colette, and Patsy went to a real men's prison to entertain them, Only a lucky few along with their families got to see the concert. They were practicing singing a song called Steam Heat, Poor Sheila couldn't keep up with the beat of the song. It was like this, "We've got (beat) (beat) (beat) (beat) steam heat" But I need your love, to keep away the cold." Sheila kept on messing them up by "We've got (beat (beat) steam heat." or "We've got (Beat) (beat) (beat) (beat) (beat) steam heat." Or "We've got Steam heat". They said it took them a long time to get Sheila to do it right. Plus those men were treated very badly at the prison, they were given cold water and soft drinks and the men were given warm water that had sat there a while.

According to Betty Bobbit, Sheila was in a concert with them in real life, Back when Gerard McGuire was still there, Betty, Sheila, Jane,Val, Colette, and Patsy went to a real men's prison to entertain them, Only a lucky few along with their families got to see the concert. They were practicing singing a song called Steam Heat, Poor Sheila couldn't keep up with the beat of the song. It was like this, "We've got (beat) (beat) (beat) (beat) steam heat" But I need your love, to keep away the cold." Sheila kept on messing them up by "We've got (beat (beat) steam heat." or "We've got (Beat) (beat) (beat) (beat) (beat) steam heat." Or "We've got Steam heat". They said it took them a long time to get Sheila to do it right. Plus those men were treated very badly at the prison, they were given cold water and soft drinks and the men were given warm water that had sat there a while.
