You have no idea how much it means to us to have a dark-skinned beauty blogger who embraces her skin and doesn't start off looking as dark as Viola Davis in her beauty video and end up looking as light as Gabrielle Union (and I love Gabrielle) after makeup application. Come on! Let's tell the truth. Some folks take "matching my chest" too far. I think the 120 looked better on you. 130 is too red. But once its oxidized it looked better. I am a tad lighter than you. I'm trying 140. Please do a review with the new setting powder from Juvia's place with the best shade match foundation for you. Thanks beautiful.

Ohemaa my shade is 140. Last week Thursday I put this foundation to the text my school had a 6th grader graduation, I live in Hawai’i the building had no central air, only fans I put on my makeup at 6am, 5 hours in nothing moved, makeup stayed put came home at 3:45pm oil set in around my nose and mouth all I did was put some powder on had to take the kids to karate class, then a bit of grocery shopping got home at 7:15 just oily nose. This foundation is AMAZING!!! . My new foundation for this Hawai’i HEAT!!!.

I prefer matching to my chest. So I feel like the other one that matches your chest but that’s just my preference. Love the eye look that green looks beautiful on you.
I've never matched to my neck, as I read this, my mind spiraled. This makes so much more sense! lol
I just like matching to my chest because I don’t like the two to be two different colors. But some people prefer the other way. Neither is wrong, but it’s my preference. Lol yeah I can see how since you’re putting on your face you wouldn’t think to match to your chest.

I like this shade on you. It still looked pretty good hours later. You should try oil blotting sheets. They suck up the oil without having to add more product. I'm curious about it rubbing off. Ive seen a few reviews where they swore it rubbed off easy. As far as the shadows, you made it work but I'm not sold on the shades of either pallets. YES we want to see the powders reviewed. Congrats on 24k!
I have a ton of Japanese rice paper blotting sheets, but for the sake of showing you gems what my face looks like without blotting I cannot do it for a wear test 😢

I'm so glad you gave us a Part 2! Because this is what I need to know. How much to apply! I remember I was Spackling KVD on my face, it covered everything & that was fine with me...until I realized I was the very definition of "Casket Ready" LOL. So I appreciate you figuring all this out for me! I hope I get mine this week but they have sold out of my shade at least 3 times that I know of so it might be longer. I like 120 on you,it looks good. My chest is significantly lighter than my face,if I matched my neck, I'll just look ghostly. I'm still trying to figure out what shade matches me. I'm cool in the summer and neutral for the rest of the year. 😣

i have to wonder if the Foundation has a bit of Shade Adjusting technology in the Formulation.
I finally settled on the Foundation in Gabon #300 (MAC NC50 here)...I have my fingers crossed...can't wait to get it in the Mail to see how the Shade works out.

I love this shade so much better on you cause when I look at ppl I look at chest and face those are focal points and this one matches your Chet better but doesn’t look to to red on you maybe one can be winter shade and the other summer but 130 this is it sis PS the Julia’s is so hard to match but they wear beautifully when you find your shade

Also have you thought about Botox for your headaches I’ve heard it really helps with migraines I get them occasionally and I know how terrible they are.

Love the music and the eye look! The concealer you used for contour is warm, but you're right.. it does also double as a bronzer and it's beautiful! And if you want to see someone put on top much foundation, go check sondjra deluxx' vid😆😆 she saved it though too, because she is a bawse! And I love the cooking with foundation test- that's a good one! Hoping you're feeling better!

J6 with 120 maybe too light, but if you like a light under eye. you will have to put an in-between shade before j6, so its a flawless brightening
