seeing this rlly made me remember how HARD ncts choreographies are...it takes mad skill to pull it off and loona did that
i mean ofc they have the most amazing choreo ever (butterfly) so ofc they'd pull this off
And they practiced it for about 2 weeks
I actually think the choreographies themselves aren't too hard, but they're insanely difficult to synchronize, especially with that many people.

They switched members during the cuts and Haseul is on a brief hiatus after the passing of her grandmother so she will be absent for a little while.
her grandmothers passing was back in February, she is absent for a reason they have not released.
Olivia absolutely eats up boy group covers. Everyone else is incredible but Olivia ALWAYS stands out. No one else in LOONA could do that center ending as well as Olivia. Even Heejin!
Fire and Cherry Bomb were done because theyre supposed to lead up to the next comeback "Burn". The comeback will probably be in june
The covers were "Fire" and Cherry "Bomb". Hyunjin also said at a fansign that the next comeback will be hot. We have the theme of fire in the covers and the next comeback will be Burn. Both dance covers were on a 22nd and the comeback will probably be on june 22nd because june 22 is the summer solstice/the day the earth is closest to the sun/"the hottest day" ->BURN

The only other choreo they've really covered is a modified short segment of Seventeen's Thanks(?) for a variety show during their Hi High promos. I say it was a teaser for what they would pull in Butterfly.

They released the Fire dance practice on the 22nd of April and Cherry Bomb on the 22nd of May, speculation are that their comeback B#RN will be on 22nd of June (some even saying Olivia and Choerry will be heavily featured (since Olivia is setting lots of things on fire in her MV (connection with BTS - Fire) and Choerry because of her fruit and name obviously (connection to NCT 127 - Cherry Bomb))

That’s something I really agree with, like there’s certain dance covers that are great but I love it when there’s something new.
Say the original group is smaller, I love how bigger dance crews can adapt to that by creating new transitions with the move set in the original.
i just got into watching the "Choerry Bomb" dance video, and I really have a crush on PD's voice!
i hope they continue this trend of covering typically hard boy group dances. idk why but i just feel like people rlly sleep on how talented loona is choreography wise. these girls can really go

at the end Kim Lip going off was superb she is an great dancer, hopefully if there is more cover in the future they put her more in the center

i actually think these covers might be more than just keeping the public interested and showing their abilities outside loona’s style, bc both of these are leading up to / hinting at their next cb !! at the end of both it shows an animation of x x -> “#” (the name of the album), and they were released exactly a month apart. and yves said # was going to be more her style than x x was, and she practiced dancing with a lot of choreo like this predebut. so maybe burn (the title track) will be like fire or cherry bomb. also, we don’t know when the cb will be, but there was a theory i saw on twt that since both covers were released on the 22nd and the chinese numeral for “2” is “二” , it will be on june 22nd bc 二 + 二 = # .
cherry b and june 21-22 is the summer solstice aka the longest day of the year.. you know loona loves releasing on astronomically significant dates 😉
