I've just wasted almost 18mins of my life listening to the Hon Governor of Western with he's pointless speech. The reason why The Late Hon Sir Michael Thomas Somare, was re-elected a number of times was bcoz he PERFORMED, he showed the people of Papua New Guinea that he could LEAD therefore he had TRUST from the people for a number of good years. When you wanna talk about Stability with all due respect Hon Governor, you must know that stability is a Big Word, why the Somare Government Had stability was because they had; Strong Institutions, Rule of Law, Social Cohesion and Integration, Effective Governance, Political Legitimacy, Economic Stability, and the list goes on. The government we have today does not have stability and we the people have trust issues.

Firstly it is rude to say nonsense when someone respectfully says something respectfully. His mannerism is polite. He made his point. Take it or leave it but don't tear a person down just because you disagree , argue them sensibly without being emotional. The people of Papua New Guinea are watching and learning this behavior from leaders. IT'S NOT RIGHT. Respect must be reciprocated while trying to make a strong argument.
Governor of Western is allowed to make a point. He respectfully said what he said. The other member call it nonsense is disrespectful. DISRESPECTFULNESS is the issue of Papua New Guinea today that's why we are having law and order issues because people cannot be respectful to each other. They don't know how to be civil.
Governor of western spoke basic english speaking because he may not be highly proficient in the language of English.

The Minister of Western has a shallow opinion on political performance. He uses his personal experience and feelings to relate to the Prime Minister's seat.
1. A Member of Parliament is voted to manage Political Affairs. To say that a VONC scenario creates instability due to "HOW I FEEL" is NOT what the people of Western voted you in for.
2. My biggest question in all this is has he projected, and can he measure the value that can be obtained with the Prime Minister retaining his seat over the span of 18 months?
3.Does said "VALUE" outweigh the output we've had for a stabilised government over the past 2 years.

The Minister for Arthorney General needs to explain what the real cause behind this bill. VONC is a law already in the Constitution of our country, and it must happen whether you like or not. Please, good ministers, do not make unnecessary amendments to our Constitution. Our fathers have taken years to build to get independence that you are enjoying now. I think the minister has a lot of things under his belt to seriously consider, think hard, and make bills. Things like Law and Order issues are his task. I'll give him an idea, construct one for the death penalty on murder and theft of one million kina and above. Every day, there are killings whose ministerial responsibility is this. Don't be paper readers if you don't understand yourself because you may sign for a disaster to the generation of this beautiful democratic country, PNG.
