I've suffered ONE major bout of seasickness in my life (never again), and a lengthy record of motion queasiness. So, I deeply respect Adam and Grant for voluntarily undergoing this torture.
I do feel that there might be a psychological component as well. This could explain Jamie's lack of response. On the other side of the coin, my father LOVED ocean fishing, and one of his buddies would always get seasick. One time, he got seriously seasick before the boat had even left the wharf.

The anchorage wasn't that bad , but was a bit rolly , and totally off grid . But there comes a time when food , or more often water cuts things short , and this is what happened here . We docked in a marina , and i felt the need to visit the toilet . Sat on the pan , i could swear the floor was moving . No ill effects just that feeling , soon passed , but just really weird .

I studied neuroscience and I worked on a number of studies on proprioception (how your brain knows where your parts are even in the dark or blind). I remember that one idea someone had was that people with stronger reliance on/experience of proprioception was related to shrugging off motion sickness. It wasn't demonstrated but I we didn't find reason to exclude it as possible either.

A big chunk of the cylinder was gone and the top strap standing straight up. No banana barrel, and I don't know what happened to the shooter, but it could not have been good. I used to belong to a shooting club where a guy had a cartoon like catastrophic failure on his shotgun. He accidentally put in a 20 gague shell into the 12 gague barrel. When he pulled the trigger, it slid the shell forward and made it look unloaded. He assumed he forgot to load, and put the 12 gague shell behind it. After several months of therapy, he recovered. The gun is hanging on the wall, and the whole center is blown out into 4 pieces like a cartoon.

IMO , It is best to stay away from Dramamine , it can cause psychoses - seen a girl have a psychotic episode on a research vessel, they had to lock her in her cabin and return to dock from Dramamine.
I don't really know about getting sea-sickness as I don't get it, -spent some time on small boats , a few years getting tossed around inside tanks and armored vehicles, and more than a year on big ships. And I saw sailors who had years on ships getting sick during typhoons, Me? nope nothing.
They are wrong about the tail-gate thing . There is increased drag at higher speeds( above the speed limit), it ain't much , I venture .1-.2 's of a mile per gallon, but it is there. And you can feel the the increased drag at high speeds (80+) , if you try both ways.
Note: this is for a 2 -door truck with a regular bed, not one of those 4-door trucks (which ain't trucks IMO), that they used in this test
I have done this experiment many times over years and 1000's of miles, both with a 2D Ford Ranger V-6 with a standard cargo bed and a 2 D Chevy Silverado V-8 with a standard cargo bed. The Ranger got "about" +.2 MPG tailgate down, the Chevy "about" +.1MPG tailgate down . As I said it ain't much , but it is there. and it add's up over time. Plus as I said, if you really "haul ass" you can feel the drag of the tail-gate if it is up. Also at high-speed , with tail gate down, you have slightly increased control. IMO
    -------------
Also , they did this same experiment another time and Adam was wearing a crash helmet and driving a 2 door truck at 55 MPH* and even their experiment showed slightly better MPG with the tail-down ( a few +100th's of a mile per gallon). Yet they talked it off as being "insignificant".
Obviously they don't know what "insignificant" means as to their own "myth" test. Because it confirmed the myth, yet they called the myth "busted".
IMO, just Cali liberals doing their thing, and not happy that their experiment confirmed a "myth" - actually a "red-neck myth" that they simply can't accept . LOL
So I consider this test on this episode to be "Disingenuous" and the result of this (4-door truck test ) to be in conflict with the results of their other test. But that was with a different vehicle ( a real 2D truck not a "truck wannbe SUV" w/4 doors and a 4' bed).
    * I remember that episode in particular because Adam looked "dam" silly driving a truck at 55MPH on the highway and wearing a crash helmet.

In the age of "Anyone can be whatever they feel that day." That is one dangerous sentence lol :D
Hopefully no furries will try this.

Funny to see the two identical “brand new” F150s in this old episode. 90% of those trucks now are either crushed, in a junk yard waiting to be crushed, or really need to be crushed because they’re beyond junk.

What is a good thing about not having great vision is the fact that your brain is already accustomed to the fact that things are not always where you see it is being and that the entirety of your personal visual existence is in flux 100% of the time, always and forever. Therefore, you don’t get sea or motion sickness.

I will say from personal experience using candies/sodas that have real ginger in them has been helpful when I was feeling nauseous in the past, so I will give it to that one for sure. As for the others, I think that they may work for some, and not for others, and prob a larger sample size would have been helpful.
