Love Danie and the channel, but I did want to share that the music in this video really threw me off. I'm actually down here in the comments mid video because the music felt so out of place I wanted to see if there were comments about her changing her editing style. Not sure if you're trying something new out but I'll put my feedback in that I'm not a huge fan of feeling like I'm in the club watching a video on my weekend mornings.

Dear DIY Danie, I know you've probably heard the old saying that people never know how they have helped others by just being themselves or being available at bad times in ones life. Well, I'm hear to say that you have helped me get through a terribly tough time. Your site popped up a few days ago and your smiling, bubbly and quirky personality caught my attention and I started watching your channel. The combination of goofy and seriously skilled you are is a perfect match. You are like a breath of fresh air and rays of sunshine which helped me so much and pulled me little by little out of a really dark place as I binge watched you for 2 days. I just wanted to thank you for that. You have a life long subscriber now. Like I said, a person never knows how they can affect someone. They may go their whole life and never know which is why I wanted to tell you this. This is a fabulous channel and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It’s great - and you were so right about the height. It’s barely low enough now! Kenobi is a happy dog for good reason.
I have that ikea bamboo cutting board in my kitchen and have you to thank for it. It was the last one at my ikea (back during supply chain problems) and there was a slight crack in the lip. Because of what I’ve learned from you, I took it home, put some wood glue in the crack, clamped it, and voilà! No problems with it at all.

OK, I promise you you're not crazy making something that gorgeous for your dog. I spent days making a food station table to look like a vintage Penguin book cover and it wasn't even my dog! It was for my sisters dog: my fur nephew Alf. I'd love to send you photos of it x
From the beginning I said Danni and Ikea? Why? She can build one easily and better one. I was either expecting you to repurpose anything thrifted or build one. And is like you listened to me. I love your honesty. I m a dog mother as well and I know that our pets deserve everything!!!!!!

I love this! It looks so good and I love that it matches the kitchen, and most importantly, it's functional! The only thing I would change is adding some kind of sealant on the wood, especially around the cut edge around the bowls and the gap between the MDF and the cutting board. Dogs can be so messy when drinking and I wouldn't want any moisture to get in there

The ikea piece is great! It’s the center of the creative weirdo corner in my kindergarten. The huge drawer is filled with recycling material for the kids to create stuff and the top holds all kinds of craft tools!

I've worked in the veterinary field for 25+ years. If anyone tells you that's too low, send them to me. I will lecture them until their ears fall off. It may even be a smidge too high, something that'll be easy to fix IF IT CAUSES HIM TROUBLE. If it does, it won't be until he's in his senior years and that's a long way off! I love it and I love Kenobi!

For longevity it might be worthwhile adding some sort of water repellant/protective layer on the painted MDF top that is under the bowls, cause water is going to get in there and absorb into the MDF

Love this. May I suggest adding a shammy under the water bowl. If the bowl sweats, it will warp the board under it. A thin absorbent sham and maybe extra polyurethane might be something to think about. 😊

The final product is perfect and loved seeing how you pivot on a project when it's necessary. So helpful to see others starting then restarting a project when it doesn't go the way you expected. Knowing how time consuming shopping and assembling furniture can be; perhaps you might mock up your project with cardboard first to get a visual in the space. Just a thought. And I absolutely love the music your editor is choosing! So fun and upbeat! Goes great with your videos. As always; great job both of you!!

NOISE A PROBLEM? Danie, if Kenobi's dishes are hitting against the sides of the base, use the glue gun and make lines or something that not only grips the bowls but will quiet the banging (if you add some on the sides.)
