I'm playing while watching this. Ive got like 200 hours in game and am on year 15 with one of my saves. And the first tip you said about tab made me pause the game and stare at the wall bug eyed. Inner dialogue: TaB whAt? Oh for f@ck sake" presses tab: "ohh for the f@ck of f@ck sakes." (Followed by silently crying both tears of misery and bliss.)
@10:22 Thank you for the video. What is this beige patch of land that had the berries on it? I have another question, please. I have the deep mining unlocked, but it doesn't work. It says that this mine is not eligible for the upgrade. Which mine are?
The beige patch is a "field" that are used for farming. But it also protect berries from de-spawning if i accidentally plant och cut down trees in the area. like Dave said, they can only be placed on rich deposits. I would say they are worth it because then the resource will never run out!
@@hmabboud It wll never 'run out' with the upgrade. Hover the deposit. It will say how many 'units' are there. They will mine all of it & it will run out. Apparently though, if it ever does run out and its Rich, the upgrade will fix it so theres always some there
The granery only have about 4 cart that can tranport large amout of goods 10unit/person so if you want to get the most out of manpower you should built more granery with maximum of 2 family assigh cause anymore than that they transport by hand wich is only 1unit/person
@@GamingNorse yes, granaries only have 4 carts at the moment so that's only enough for 2 families. Also trading posts can only have 2 'assigned' horses but they can use more. If you have 3 families working at a post and 3 horses the third family will use the horse even though it is not 'assigned'
Is this game hard or is it the fact im playing on a steam deck and can barely read any text in this game Also i found its better to just build another logging camp instead of moving it, this way you have more places to store lumber
I don't understand what the fuck this game is doing sometimes. Like, I will assign people to sawmill, and one is going and 2 others are planting veggies in their house. I will watch a storehouse worker go to the market, load one firewood and take it back to storehouse, while the market stall worker will go to the woodcutter and take a new stack. And he never stocks properly, I think it scales with how many lived in houses you have. And people just fuck around in general. They will ignore a 80% filled woodcutter stockyard and will haul ass across the map to pick up a log for a construction 5 meters away from a woodcutter. And other things. Like the fact that the moment I assign a new family to a granary they immediately go and set up a new food market stall even tho the other family already has a 50/50 stocked stall. But yea, even despite that, I like it.

"Rich" deposits only benefit. The resource must have a 'Crown'
@@davebruneau6068 Thank you for your reply. But what is the point of the upgrade if the deposit is already "rich"?

@ Got it. Thank you! In the game, can one get all the points to unlock all the perks? Or were you ever limited?
How do you get those long rows of crops like that? Doesn't look like farms.

Is that true? I only heard that the trading post only have two horses. Never heard this about granaries.

Building another logging camp might be the best move
