Emma, you are exceptional in the way you deliver the stories of these horrific crimes. I so appreciate the depiction of the criminals in true form without glorifying their deeds. Your interpretation and insight is profound and your empathy for the victims is truly wonderful. Thank you for your depth and multi layered approach and your ability to dissect and interpret the truth ❤️

One of my best girlfriends is finally out of a 10 year abusive relationship - his mother is in absolute denial and is completely delusional about how her son has treated not only my friend, but also herself. He’s been allowed to walk over the first women in his life and he will continue to treat women the same way the rest of his life. I’m just so glad my friend is out of his web of emotional manipulation and nastiness x

I'm a little late on this one as i have reviewed your content in reverse! But having seen so much of your content its clear to me that you have a huge amount of empathy. Which leads me to believe that either through an innate skill you were miraculously born with or learnt through childhood trauma, you are amazingly capable of compartmentalising even the most evil crimes!
Much respect and admiration from myself and all the family members ive sent your way! Keep growing, i honestly think you will hit 1 million subs rather quick given the level of unity this community has ❤

He is sly and cunning but he is also a narcissist, which makes him stupid. He finds himself beyond reproach and I also think he enjoyed having Nicola on the stand, basically using the trial as another assault. Also narcissists tend to find fault in everyone else, and blaming others for what they did themselves. So yeah, he is stupid. Well done, Nicola!

    WTH?!
There’s actually people that think prisoners like this man have rights?
He killed three people. By doing so, he stole their rights.
Since he took their rights, he intrinsically forfeited his own.
    He no longer has rights.
I’m amazed at some people thinking these criminals should have any mercy.
I get it, some deserve mercy, but people like him?
That’s a hard Nope for me.

Go girl Emma. Really good to see from victim's point of view(for a change, after we are force-fed U.S."glory-porn"of serial killers programmes daily).Having worked as a behavioural therapist with some of London's most challenging "cases",shall we say,the worst are the ones we don't know about-in some cases nor should we.!!
The crux to me was how you eloquently highlighted the worrying "grey" time we are in post -Trump,when the human rights of this man are ever considered before the deceased and living victims/survivors,of all his crimes.I learnt the hard way ,from being a young naieve therapist, that no matter how much therapy etc some people have, there are those who would cut your throat without batting an eyelid, and I did suffer for that naievety.
Anyhow, keep up the good work Em,.Excellently presented and keep up the good work!Peace and love man,n love your Misfits t shirt.#female/femail power.

i was born in the early seventies. i must say that i find today's society in UK bewildering and frustrating. i must admit that i detest what has happened to our society and feel heartbroken over how young males will turn out, compared to the country we were and how it could have been! but i admit this: the type of male persona you describe was a side effect of how society was structured: the ultra-violent male, who was allowed to act without consequence, the authorities only dealing with the issue when it became an un-ignorable extreme. things were so different, its hard to put into words how much freedom we have lost, in this ascendancy of the frightened we now live in.

TBIs Traumatic Brain Injuries do change the personality of the person who has suffered from one. In my youth a friend of mine whose mother was a very shy person and very introverted before the car accident. Her mother did suffer from a TBI and when she recovered from the accident she was outgoing, fun-loving, and became the favorite mother on the block because she was super cool with all of us running around the house and backyard with enough energy to run a locomotive. And she made the best cookies and we all discovered that she had a beautiful voice when she became the soloist at the church. This is a good story of TBIs. Another friend I grew up with suffered a TBI, motorcycle accident. I heard years later that he passed away in prison for being a real scumbag. The hands of fate.

The moment you said that he pled not guilty, my heart sunk. I knew that brave little girl was going to have to testify. She Is so so strong, I absolutely hate that she had to go through all of that trauma and still have to be in the same room as that man.

This is becoming one of my fave crime channels! Could you do a video on Herbert Mullin who killed people to prevent earthquakes, he is a really interesting guy, he was also killing at the same time as Ed Kemper

Kids see adults behave cruelly towards each other constantly in reality and on social media, then when kids behave badly were shocked.

Huh! My great-grandfather's nickname was apparently "The Fox," as well. Because, at least according to family lore, he was smart, savvy, cunning & could be vicious. So my ears definitely perked up when I heard that. But he definitely did NOT give himself that nickname!

Hi Emma, are there any studies you know of that attempt to make correlations between brain injuries and violence? .

@@azicat1459 Why do you believe that Emma's delivery is judgemental and why not factual. I'm not familiar with the case.

Back then ppl were extended a large amount of privacy on the social expectation of the basic good and decency of your average person. At some point we accepted the narrative about people that said, "if you have nothing to hide why should you mind?" Totally overlooking the implication made and the inevitable effect it would have on our individual liberties as well as the perception of society and our fellow man as a whole. Those who would sacrifice liberty and freedom for the promise of safety deserve none.
