@@ADT1995 I am ready behind my pc every friday waiting for the episode to be published on TH-cam. But this one episode was delayed and got released at my night time.
Step 1 : send letters to all the dukes informing them of a future visit (make it very polite but also obvious it's compulsory) Step 2 : win the duel as a show of personal strength Step 3 : go take back Leuchten as a show of military / strategic strength Step 4 : Tour the rest of Westemar, starting with Drannsmund as a show of favour
Yeah this is where I am at. I wasn't pleased with the terms of the Silver Order (although I recognize that drakkenforce/duskwardens were between a rock and a hard place), some of their terms were fine, some of them would have been non-negotiable to me though.
The offers and demands of the silver order though and roleplay of paladins is tottaly out of the roleplay. I mean the "Chief paladin" roleplay is tottaly against the Paladins. If I was a player (I use to play more paladins as a main pick) that "chief paladin" of the silver order would have a VERY HARD TIME if I was a player on the table. I mean the "chief paladin" sounded as he wants to slay all mageborns, that leave a STAIN to any Paladin.
Kelly "and what else do we do..." You all bring joy and in this latest installment, 2 hours of fun to thousands of fans world-wide weekly dude. 💕 If you sell the movie rights please play the roles yourself...
Monty’s ability to pull your mind in 40 different directions at once is utterly unmatched. He makes you want to ally with everyone, and no one at the same time.
As someone who is DMing a Drakkenheim campaign I need some spelling on those Duke name lists. I'm a backer of the new book but I can't wait a year and then be wrong about every noble family name.
Was told somewhat early that Santa was not "real", but that his spirit was. So I continued to "believe" until my younger sister told me to cut the crap. But the SPIRIT is still REAL!
They could reflavour it by using contaminated ratlings who generate more ratlings when wet and they need to keep a genuinely nice ratling alive in the process? 😁 The nice ratling could be called "Cheezmo"? 🧀🐀
been watching on twitch so i haven't been commenting. Here to say this is still awesome! The party is strong and the players play smart, and yet the problems just keep coming! and they are not small problems either. In a sadistic kind of way, watching the players squirm under 5 different moral and practical dilemmas at once makes this a uniquely enjoyable experience! I wonder if it's even possible for it to resolve happily. I guess we'll find out next time :)))
I love that you left the sound check in I so relate to so many of the things you said I'm the youngest and I totally lied about believing in Santa Claus so I can get extra presents on orders from the older brother of course
Kelly is playing this so well, but Monty keeps throwing in the monkey wrenches. While this noble situation is a very real concern I feel like it falls in the grey space of what a player knows and can relate to vs. what the character knows and would react to.
Yah, and I think Monty has done a great job basically spelling it out for them without telling them out front that if you want to be King you're gonna kinda have to be King at least some times. Leading from the field without ever communicating with your "noble's" is a good way to get on their bad sides. They need to reach out as soon as possible or they're gonna have some Caesar situation. Lol. Edit: Maybe they should consider a "high council" to run everyday affairs for them that gives a report to Veo or Wilhelm for them to rule on bigger matters. Just an idea.
I wonder if you three always get nervous when someone random appears because you assume it's the QoT in disguise lol. Also, I hope the book is out sooooon! I keep taking notes of a ton of info I get from the show to use it in my campaign (session 0 on monday!!). Thanks for the episode, btw
Excellent episode. I’m really enjoying pushing the problems on feudal rule onto Wilhelm. He’s gonna have to learn how to juggle cats with his foreign neighbors, the nobility, and the Academy. No offense, Veo.
Something I've just realized: with the naming convention of Caspia, there's definately a couple of people who are named Uranus, and I feel very sorry for them.
Grappling vine cantrip allows you to make grapple checks within 15 feet of yourself as though attacking. It will hold up without your concentration but concentration is needed to add your spell modifier.
If I was Willhelm, I would send in invitation to all the nobles, to come to Drackenhiem. with their personal guard. and give them a guided tour, up close and personal with some of the more......... interesting sights and attractions of the city :)
They want to destroy the delirium but it is a valuable resource. Instead of a loan give them the same price as the Amethyst Academy. A purchase for mineral rights instead of a loan.
Spoiler (Classic DM deflection): Wilhelm enquires to Ophelia Reed as to whether their plans/alliance have been magically scryed upon = Elias Drexel making a statement about what is ‘common knowledge’. Party would need to expend resources to protect themselves from invasive divination, while the DM is present to every voiced thoughts! I love it!!! Not that this party pays attention to where they say what?!? All while playing more than one character each (smoother now that parties are on different arcs)!
The tyrant solution: Step 1: Call in the dukes in a weeks time. Step 2: Have Sebastian, Veo and Pluto assassinate Duke Fritz quietly and abduct his corpse (whether he is responsible for the attack or not). Step 3: Lock the doors upon arrival of the dukes, reveal the corpse and dozens of soldiers. Step 4: "You think I'm calling you in because I crumble before your grandeur, that I'm at your whim. Know that I'm not. No one is dissuading me on my path to save this world, not Duke Fritz, not the Elyrians. Be on the side of heroes, or be on the side of those who will perish soon."
Also, Dudes! I just moved to Italy yesterday and am so happy I can now get VOD’s on Friday evenings! I will continue to preach the rules of Wilhelm Von Kessel to the masses!
1:38:30 "I'm going to bow to her" Me, literally screaming at my phone, "YOU ARE NOT!" I am just very upset this woman comes in and starts lecturing and criticizing Wilhelm and putting all this onto him while he hasn't even had a night of sleep and _is still actively losing teeth and nails_! Without so much as a "Have I come at a good time?" Wilhelm will go out of his way to do the right thing for anybody except himself and it makes me feel very protective towards him.
There is not a plot hole in the movie Elf. They address that Santa will lose his magic if he is seen by the masses. Just saying. Merry Christmas in September!
That moment when Kelly was confronted with what a “cat”tastrophy his time as ruler has been and he ignores it and stays the course. Pivotal, his entire kingdom wants him dead except for skeletal band of friends in Drakenheim. The question becomes can Monty bend the facts and situation so much so that Kelly isn’t dead within the week? Can he not sacrifice the entire campaign and 2 previous campaigns for the sake of saving Kelly’s character? Or will the endless coffers and armies of his enemies magically defy the inevitable and fail to kill one man protected by a cat and a Caspian?
Oh this episode reminded me that Veo has two adoptive dads iirc 🥹 tho i did forget who her other father was/what happened... great rp from Veo with Wilhelm as well, love you guys so much
1:23:51 Monty! Kelly! You're so good. I found myself arguing both sides. She says they've made a fortune... Me: yeah but at what cost Her: we don't need to lick the boots of illeria. Me: yes! Thank you!
Those nobles are blinded about trading delirium. They don't want peace, just as the Silver Order(cause I smell they are using the golden delirium) Amethyst Academy and all others want either destroying (Silver Order want to destroy because they want to be the only ones who can use Golden delirium) or to be harvest and trade. Those fools they don't see the true danger

Shoutout to Kent McDonell for making the list since ep1 - ep12.
There are 3 more rules left unspoken of Wilhelm's 100 rules. Rule 29, rule rule 84 and rule 85.
+ Rule 69: What you give you too shall receive. 2:01:30
🤣
Thank you, I was looking for you in the comments the other day and was afraid you were no longer posting, I look forward to this list every episode.
@@ADT1995 I am ready behind my pc every friday waiting for the episode to be published on TH-cam. But this one episode was delayed and got released at my night time.

Rule 69 truly got me!!!! What you give you shall receive, I love it!
😂 👍🏻 Yeah, that was perfect 👌🏻
Joe's rants were SO good this episode. Masterfully delivered.
Wilhelm "I don't think things can get worse"
Monty raises his eyebrows slightly. That's a dangerous sign
Step 1 : send letters to all the dukes informing them of a future visit (make it very polite but also obvious it's compulsory)
Step 2 : win the duel as a show of personal strength
Step 3 : go take back Leuchten as a show of military / strategic strength
Step 4 : Tour the rest of Westemar, starting with Drannsmund as a show of favour
Wilhelms and Veo's conversation made me cry.
The more I watch, the more relieved I am that I don't have to make those decisions. Poor Wilhelm.
Love the real talk at the beginning!!!
Joe, love your exasperated scene
Kelly "and what else do we do..." You all bring joy and in this latest installment, 2 hours of fun to thousands of fans world-wide weekly dude. 💕 If you sell the movie rights please play the roles yourself...
Monty’s ability to pull your mind in 40 different directions at once is utterly unmatched. He makes you want to ally with everyone, and no one at the same time.
Wilhelm - I'm not blind.
Jill - trying her hardest to not lose her shit.
I love it.
The irony of rule 69 being about giving and receiving given the number having it's adult connotations is not lost on me. Way to be sneaky Kelly. Lol
As someone who is DMing a Drakkenheim campaign I need some spelling on those Duke name lists. I'm a backer of the new book but I can't wait a year and then be wrong about every noble family name.
Commenting before watching the actual episode to say that I loved the chilled intro chat! 😁👍
Was told somewhat early that Santa was not "real", but that his spirit was. So I continued to "believe" until my younger sister told me to cut the crap. But the SPIRIT is still REAL!
Asking the king if you can call him "Willy" is wild. You might as well dethrone the man before he's even properly crowned
Loved the call backs in this one, an excellent show as always.
Verona is very politically savvy, and would be a good advisor/consort fir Wilhelm.
Yes-that whole conversation I was thinking what a smart match that could be.
Ohhh Ohhh Ohhh, who wants Dungeon dudes to do a Gremlins one shot for Christmas!!!!! I do!!!
(Edit) gremlins twisted by Delirium
Whatever you do don’t give the Mogwai Delirium!!!
This would be great
They could reflavour it by using contaminated ratlings who generate more ratlings when wet and they need to keep a genuinely nice ratling alive in the process? 😁 The nice ratling could be called "Cheezmo"? 🧀🐀
been watching on twitch so i haven't been commenting. Here to say this is still awesome! The party is strong and the players play smart, and yet the problems just keep coming! and they are not small problems either. In a sadistic kind of way, watching the players squirm under 5 different moral and practical dilemmas at once makes this a uniquely enjoyable experience! I wonder if it's even possible for it to resolve happily. I guess we'll find out next time :)))
Dukes with assassination plans. Sounds like some Dukes of Hazards.
Underrated comment. 😂
Yes. Love the banter. You guys are awesome
The appropriately numbered rule 69: what you give you too shall receive
Verona left Dransmund to inform Wilhelm? Ok THAT IS BIIIIIIIIIIIG.
Pre dnd talk is a important part of dnd
Excellent awareness of the reality of feudal politics... brilliantly done Monty.
I love that you left the sound check in I so relate to so many of the things you said I'm the youngest and I totally lied about believing in Santa Claus so I can get extra presents on orders from the older brother of course
I love the talking before it was so fun! Seeing you all as friends just hanging out was great :D
Rule 69 could not have been an accident. That was so on the nose 😂😂😂😂😂
I can't wait for Veo's Cookbook or Pluto's monster hunting guide! LOL
“Toast can never go back.” We need a list for Veyo’s food references they are so fantastic 😂😂
Excellent episode. I’m really enjoying pushing the problems on feudal rule onto Wilhelm. He’s gonna have to learn how to juggle cats with his foreign neighbors, the nobility, and the Academy. No offense, Veo.
Anyone else get the "Charlie at the Conspiracy Board" meme in their heads when Monty is explaining all the nobility of Westemar?
FYI. It says that this is a World of Warcraft video in the description.
Something I've just realized: with the naming convention of Caspia, there's definately a couple of people who are named Uranus, and I feel very sorry for them.
I’m a simple man, I see new episode, I watch new episode.
Literally screaming “EXECUTIONER” when they were deciding what to go after next.
Did no one else catch the rule 69 joke?! 😂 Spectacular Kelly
Proof that political intrigue can be great drama! Well done Monty as always the master of voices.
I like the fun conversation at the beginning. It feels more natural to me.
Wilhelm desperately needs 3 lvls of pact of the blade warlock or fighter.
Needed this today.
We need a Power Point with lots of diagrams to follow this!
Yes, please. Give us the pregame conversations. They make you real people and not merely entertainers.
“What you give, you shall receive” CHRIST
Not a single dice rolled tonight guys! So much fantastic roleplay this session!
I am always elated to see a new episode of Drakkenheim
AAAHHH ship was gone and just happened.... yas. Great session with tons of intrigue.
Grappling vine cantrip allows you to make grapple checks within 15 feet of yourself as though attacking. It will hold up without your concentration but concentration is needed to add your spell modifier.
You better not cut those chat segments from the beginning!! That was so hilarious 🤣
Great episode. I love how you twist the players after they have decided on a course of action.
Terry Gilliams Brazil, is set at Christmas. X x enjoy.
“Rule number 69 - what you give you will receive”
Hmmmmmmmmmm
If I was Willhelm, I would send in invitation to all the nobles, to come to Drackenhiem. with their personal guard. and give them a guided tour, up close and personal with some of the more......... interesting sights and attractions of the city :)
They want to destroy the delirium but it is a valuable resource. Instead of a loan give them the same price as the Amethyst Academy. A purchase for mineral rights instead of a loan.
rule number 69, what you give you shall receive....... it took me a moment to get it :)
Spoiler (Classic DM deflection):
Wilhelm enquires to Ophelia Reed as to whether their plans/alliance have been magically scryed upon = Elias Drexel making a statement about what is ‘common knowledge’.
Party would need to expend resources to protect themselves from invasive divination, while the DM is present to every voiced thoughts! I love it!!! Not that this party pays attention to where they say what?!? All while playing more than one character each (smoother now that parties are on different arcs)!
The tyrant solution:
Step 1: Call in the dukes in a weeks time.
This is very close to how I would play it
Drakkentime!
Pay these folks TH-cam!
Gremlins is best Christmas movie
2:08:30 Is it inappropriate for me to point out that this rule is numbered perfectly?
I say keep the conversations in the beginning. That was most enjoyable
Gremlins is indeed a Christmas movie!
Also, Dudes! I just moved to Italy yesterday and am so happy I can now get VOD’s on Friday evenings! I will continue to preach the rules of Wilhelm Von Kessel to the masses!
RULE # 69: WHAT YOU GIVE, YOU RECIEVE. NICE
1:38:30 "I'm going to bow to her"
Me, literally screaming at my phone, "YOU ARE NOT!"
I am just very upset this woman comes in and starts lecturing and criticizing Wilhelm and putting all this onto him while he hasn't even had a night of sleep and _is still actively losing teeth and nails_! Without so much as a "Have I come at a good time?"
Wilhelm will go out of his way to do the right thing for anybody except himself and it makes me feel very protective towards him.
There is not a plot hole in the movie Elf. They address that Santa will lose his magic if he is seen by the masses. Just saying. Merry Christmas in September!
Ya but the parents of all the kids who get presents? I guess you could say it's not 'true belief' or maybe it's just kids belief?
But the presents show up, so parents will either know he's real, or think there's strangers breaking into their houses to leave presents.
Rule 69 is just the best veiled 69 joke I've heard 😂
Me: yeah but at what cost
Her: we don't need to lick the boots of illeria. Me: yes! Thank you!
Didn’t Wilhelm get a fake eye from the academy with his armour?
I thought so? I don't remember though. I'll have to go back and look
What does his armour actually do mechanically?
@@esgeir9499 I believe the key feature allows him to glide from high places
@@charlesalbrecht6201 that sounds really cool, but is that it? I don't know if I've seen that come up yet...

Listening to Elias my first thought is "That's the Queen of Thieves."
Love you guys.
Wilhem is going to need to read some Marcus Aurelius to make it through his reign...
That’s an incredible pick for rule 69
Didn't the trophies have to be turned in to the Temple at Emberwood Village???
Changing the rules to make harder
Anyone else catch the double entendre with rule 69?
I was so longing for the result of the duel but then came the political intrigue. Well played indeed.
(Another nontraditional Christmas movie is Batman Returns)
Those nobles are blinded about trading delirium. They don't want peace, just as the Silver Order(cause I smell they are using the golden delirium) Amethyst Academy and all others want either destroying (Silver Order want to destroy because they want to be the only ones who can use Golden delirium) or to be harvest and trade. Those fools they don't see the true danger
The silver order has nothing to do with golden delerium
Next up on a very emotional episode of Fate of Drakkenheim... 39:00 .
Another xmas movie. Paul Blart Mall Cop
I love how much delerium politics are climate change politics. Monte doing a great job of representing big energy, I mean big delerium. Phenomenal dialogue this episode 👏👏👏
Omg rule #69: you should give to receive
I think each episode should start with some casual banter
I'm 30 and have nephews. I get Santa gifts every year. We all do.
27:45
It's a rule I my aunt house if u don't believe in Santa claws u don't get Xmas gifts so I am a form believe Santa is real
Don't forget to add 3 robot-assassins and umpteen ratings to the count.
Hahahaha wow! Rule#69, what you give, you too shall receive. That's wonderful. There's no way that wasn't planned. Good on ya.
Yes, Gremlins is a Christmas movie 😁
