My biggest problem is the use of prepositions in daily conversations. I can give many examples of this situation. Let's say, I want to tell a friend that my salary has been increased by - at three percent. Which preposition should I use when I say my salary increased by -at three percent? Which one is correct? At or by? As I said, it is just an example. There are many. This is one of the most important reasons why I have learned many words but cannot use them. Again thank you!
Interesting... almost all material for teaching this (including the Canadian material) asks what the medical problem is, but in Canada here, I've only been asked this question once, and it was fairly recently, within the last few years!
Interesting! It could be due to privacy issues between the receptionist and the patient. It's better to be prepared to answer that question in case it's asked, though! 😊
