The best road bike I have ever ridden was the first year zx636 they are built for the race track so are the ultimate canyon carver, the lightest of push on the inside bar has it tracking any line you choose through the curves ,amazing weapon.

The 2003 one or the 2013 one when they brought it back?
I have that same bike. The ZX-6R is the best bang for your buck supersport out there. $10,200 for the non ABS model and you get 2 rider modes, 3 traction control settings and a quick shifter 👍
I still have my 2013 636, never getting rid of her. That engine lived a very hard life. Only thing i didn't like about this video is you just pounding first gear at high revs. At least go into second...
To ride other bikes if your insurance allows it, the other bike still needs to be insured for the owner, or you are not insured to ride it. That is at least how it works here in the UK.
If i ever win the lottery, one of the first things I would buy... I so wish I had a 636... Only thing I have is a 2000 zx6r (600J).. she still likes the turns tho...
That's the exact move I did last year.. I went from a 2019 650 to a 2021 ZX6... Best move ever... if you don't mind the aggressive riding position... I absolutely love the 636
@@brianc1481 I feel like the riding position is part of the thrill. Nice and low, and fast lol. I’d have to test ride one first. I do love my 650 though, it’s a great all arounder. How long did you have the 650 before you traded up?
@@JohnnyDiesel88 I agree with you.. for me its definitely part of it.. I owned my 650 from early September 2019 to April 2021... I live in Boston so it was basically 1 full season.. I loved it.. but the zx6 is on another level.
Why you riding it like that when it ain’t even your bike, red lining it in first gear and that, just disrespectful I think? Just cause you can don’t mean you should
People always think the ZX14 is too big to handle well on twisty roads, then they ride one and proclaim "Damn, it handles way better than I thought it would!" My 2013 is a super great bike and I hope I never sell it. It's never been beat on the highways doing pulls. I've never raced an H2 though.
It's not the bike thats too big , it's the rider who's says that lol I seen goldwings scraping pegs on the Twistys it's all rider skill any bike any corner all the same 🤘
Why is Maxy always out of breath lmao. That dude did not want anyone on or near his bike lmao. The ZX-14R are nice but I think theyre just to much for no reason.
@@HalfdeadRider Are you saying the 14 doesn't accelerate hard and only does top speed? It surely does both. As heavy as it is (stock)... but the weight can always be shed in many different ways (money as the main factor) as I've known some drop it from stock 590 pounds to the high 400 pounds... and still with 200+ bhp and 116ft-lbs of torque, it hauls! 0-60mph in 2.5 sec in stock configuration, like the H2. (The 2022 model is already posted on the Kawasaki website, so it's still in production.) But, yes... with a top speed of over 200 mph on the straightaway (flashed, of course) needs a bit of heft, thus making it so comfortable and rock stable at those high speeds. It's more nimble than it looks (if you haven't driven one) once it's moving... and at the hands of an expert rider like him... I really wanted to see that.
@@yetrotagabundok3756 No mate, I know from riding with them that they are definitely very fast still. That portion of my comment was just a straight reply to the op'er saying "Zx1400 monster faster than the h2 on the top end", both bikes accelerate more than fast enough. Even my 21 y/o ZX9r will be right with them, despite stock 200kg and 144 bhp and 101 Nm torque, it would do 0-60 in 3 secs and sub 10 second quarter mile, first production bike to do so. Mine is lighter and a little more powerful than stock too, it's a beast.
@@SpartonGearz yea but I want to get that low and feel those g forces but I don’t want to wreck lol. But he’s 22 and makes his own decisions and I ride so I can’t be hypocritical but I know what can happen on the road.
my god!! do you you even up shift and downshift sometimes?? the bike is a 21 ,yet you stick it in second around 12000rpm all the time between corners !! you can upshift in third to keep the revs in the meat without glueing it in top revs all the time which brings nothing good for the engine, then downshifting a notch just before the corner you know...most of the corners could be taken in third in the 3/4 of the rev range instead of sticking it on the ceiling for no reasons.
Lol what ? What does it matter being a 21 model on what gear your in ? that's too funny , you want to be in the higher revs because it gives you more grip, more control , more engine braking, when carving up the corners it is also fine for the engine if anything it makes it run better , give it a go mate
@@TheGuyegood if they were not ment to go in to the red zone as you put it, then why would they have it on the bike wouldn't they just make it so you can not rev it to the red zone ? Or they put it there so if you do go in to it the bike explodes? It's there to tell you that you are at max revs the bike can handle it , I always hit the rev limiter have been 30+ years never had any problem , your manual won't teach you how to ride
