Love old Victorians. They have so much craftsmanship! It's funny because they were seen as the McMansions of the time period when they were being built.
This build is stunning! That screenshot from the office with the light pouring in over the triangular coach? Absolute chef's kiss. The color scheme is so fun and alive, I love it!
This is such a great house. I think it’s very realistic for the interior to not match the exterior. I know that if I were to move into an ultra modern house, my furniture would not match that style and intended decor. I’d also have kid stuff all over the place and dog begs everywhere! We have more dog beds then we do dogs. Haha
You mean kids stuff that is yours or that you have a kid?? Not judging you either way, I'm almost 29 and I have kids stuff everywhere that is just mine because I'm an immature adult LoL 🤣🤣🤣

I'm very new here (found you through the collab with Gryphi!) but you have very quickly become one of my favorite sims channels ever. All of your builds feel so lived in and comfortable, especially and including this one, and you're a very easy person to listen to talking in a very similar way! (Also, big mood on the undiagnosed-until-recently ADHD and disorganization - I would never have been able to maintain a room like the teen's one here, though I had a friend or two who absolutely did!)
The exterior is perfection, I can't imagine how annoying building the path with all those rocks must have been 😂. I also love the interior but space is a little wasted despite being a literal mansion. For example, those half-rooms/hallways drives me crazy, they are aesthetic and all that, but that space could have been used to do a dining room or a bigger living room, or a second living room/cinema room/whatever room.
Lovely, these types of houses have a special place in my heart, if I were ever to afford a house I would look for “one with a tower” like I used to say as a kid.
girl PLEASE download the better build buy mod. I promise that you will love it as soon as you get used to it and that only takes a few hours in game. it is SO worth it and now I literally can't build without it

I ended up doing something similar, making a build that was unintentionally way bigger than what I thought it should've been once I got onto the interior
@@MissSimReno Mine is a lot smaller than this build but I have like 2 living room, a hobby room and 6 bedrooms, and it's only on a 30x20 in Evergreen Harbour 💀
Uh, the coffee pot is a functional item and functional items cant be placed like that or else they cant be used by sims. Some people want houses they can just plop down in their sims worlds and this makes it ten times harder when you place them like that. Sorry for the rant. I just got worked up when you placed the coffee pot like that.
I tested it and it did work for my sims, however I understand it may not work for everyone since various bugs/glitches and routing issues seem to greatly vary for different players. Doesn’t make the build not functional and some people don’t mind having to adjust. I do my best to make my builds as functional as possible 💓 I understand this might be frustrating but ranting at a creator doesn’t necessarily get your point across in a constructive manner.
If you don’t like where the coffee machine has been placed, why not just move it? It’s taken you longer to write this comment than it would have done to move it somewhere you find acceptable.

😂I use sconces to fill in spaces on walls if I've used too much artwork because the empty space drives me nuts!
