My friend i wish you always safe voyages. Let me guess the vessel is built at Mitsui Tamano? I am an ex- naval architect and i used to supervise the building of 3 handy b.c. there. Exaxtly same with this one! When i saw the vibration damber in S/G room i realized this is identical. When i watched this video it turned me back 10 years ago...
As I remember there is a deck air compressor near hotwell. This air compressor was not working due to missing spare parts . In bulk carriers there is the difficulty from companies to send spare parts. So this air compressor was stand still for months maybe even years.
Believe me the Bulk carrier I sailed on, Engine room was 98% exact replica apart from the machinery from other companies, and it didn’t had that deck air compressor or the air bottle on the 2nd deck
@macbaker8434 yes we had this system really if we had the spare parts would be nice to fix it because the main air compressors was working more to cover the demand from deck .
2/E still was my position! It is very difficult to overtake a position if you work as 2/E and then go to Chief engineer because there is a possibility you will not like the company. But I don’t hurry up for this position any more because there is dangerous situations . Lot of problems onboard they put in danger not only the crew but also your personal life. In most of cases I would like to stop sailing because there is not seamanship onboard any more. Everyone looking to bypass the work and load uneven others without reason because luck of knowledge.
@@Adventure-Story OK, thank you for your reply, besides I think that being a 2/E would actually be better: you get to do more actual maintenance work on the machinery rather than just doing paperwork all the time 😄. God bless you!
@@Adventure-Story but any way you should have experience.Otherwise not possible.Or it has difference not for all countries as a rule.I can’t go to offshore for example because of experience there. But for BK or container from tanker I can
10 minutes in… and I know I’mgoing to watch this 10 times again and analyse ever second of this !
Thanks dear friend!
❤ this, maybe as the tech move through the engine room he must give comments on what is what, thanks for vid.

기관사시절 옛날생각난다! 터빈소음이 요란하네!
Maybe a PSCO watching your video😂
What’s the machinery near hotwell and hydrophore(white box)
Why a third air bottle on 2nd deck??

Good job, i really love bulk carrier vessels, by the way what is the ship name??? Much greeting ETO from Venezuela
A commentary in english would be much appreciated.
You can see what controls they use often or never based on what paint remains on them
Is this ballast water treatment in must on every ship?
Yes in now days it is a must!
Música para meus ouvidos.
Are you already the C/E on this ship or are you still a 2/E? Excellent video, as always! 👍

@@gprimeofx yes this is true!
@@Adventure-Story so agree with u.
How could you change the type of vessels so simply? From BK to tanker….
Very easy I have change lot of them because I get bored in one type. Soon dredging or other type let’s see!
