Columbus Crew Downtown Stadium Construction Update (Mavic Air 2 4K)

The New Crew Stadium, home of the 2020 MLS Cup Champions, is scheduled to open in July 2021. It will seat 20,000 spectators with an innovative design that promises an intimate seating bowl experience with close proximity to the pitch. The soccer-specific stadium will cost over $300 million to build and is located at the center of the Confluence Village development in Columbus, Ohio. Confluence Village is also the home of the more than a century old and recently renovated Municipal Light and Power Plant.
This 4K footage was captured on a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone during February 2021 and documents the construction of the new stadium.

Youth soccer in the US and Ohio is extremely popular. The MLS has recently added several new dedicated soccer stadiums across the league that should help grow the fanbase even further along with a new TV deal with Apple TV. I can't wait for the 2026 World Cup to be played in North America!

@@redhawkdrone3403 This is "the hird time lucky" situation ... World Football grew in the U.S. (without sponsorship) from the early 1900s and faded in the 1920s, again in the late 1960s to the early 1980s But This Time it has been a steady progresssive move forward from the late 1990s "This Time" it will not fade away as we now have the internet/social media so lovers of The World Game can stick together!.

I not a fan of the generic music clips provided by TH-cam either. I wanted to use the audio from the last two minutes of the 2020 championship match but was fearful of a copywrite strike. I appreciate you watching and thanks for the feedback.
