  • So I had all of the fill from the Lakehouse Foundation dig brought up in my backyard to make a pad for the planned shop. It was around 200 yards worth of material and I might even need more...

What a good boy. Riding with his dad. I see he knows when to move, like fast if necessary 😊.

Mac has gotten so big. I still remember when you brought him home how tiny he was.

That is shaping up well. It's great you could transfer and utilize fill from your parents' renovation. I know you talked about u/g electrical to the shop, any thoughts on getting some water up there as well for a possible wash down area?

Thanks! I actually have a spigot just down the hill near the firepit that I ran when putting in the sprinkler system. I might T off of that to bring the line up closer to run pressure washers for the machines.

That work shop will be pretty far from your house. Do you plan to run electrical to it? Would seem to be a must for a functional workshop.

Yeah, unfortunately due to my skinny but long lot and required 30' offsets that area is really the only spot I can put something sizeable and not have it in the dead center of my yard. I will definitely run underground electrical up to it.

that first load of material you kept messing with should have been pushed right off the edge and used as base, it was garbage, you have all that nice fill there to play with
