1. ต้องรู้ความแตกต่างระหว่างอดีตกับปัจจุบัน ทั้งกิริยา วาจา คำเปรียบเทียบ บลาๆๆ ภาษาไทยมันซับซ้อน
2. ซับไตเติล ต้องแปลให้เข้าใจระวังคำในอดีตกับปัจจุบัน หรือ คำที่คนปัจจุบันใช้คำนึงแต่ความหมายอีกอย่าง เช่น แรง = ร้าย , เวจ = ส้วม
3. ต้องดูตั้งแต่ต้นจนจบ
จริง.. ถ้าจะแปลให้ต่างชาติ เข้าใจ ต้องแปลให้ละเอียด เพราะศัพท์ไทยมันซับซ้อนมาก แล้วต้องบอกให้เขารู้ ว่านางเอกเสียชีวิตแล้วย้อนเวลากลับมาสมัยอดีต เพราะพวกเขายังคิดว่านางเอกแต่ก่อนเป็นคนร้ายแล้วกลับกลายมาเป็นคนดีทีหลัง

Nice video guys, i was curious for sometime how would this series received outside Thailand as their are lots of cultural and language barrier for understanding the drama fully. I think their reactions would have been different if they were given some context and cultural information before watching the video. Or may be they watch only some part from the series and not all from beginning. The actress, Karakade was taken back in time around 300 years ago (same time when France was ruled by King Louis XIV and Thailand ruled by King Phra Narai Maharaj). The original body owner to whom future Kadesurang took, was born a noble class family. In those day, noble people have personal care takers or servant (Prai in thai). Prai dress differently from their master and not allowed to act as equals to their master. For example, they always sit on the floor and bow when ordered anything. Most of the conversation will be more funny in Thai as there are generation gaps in their language. For example walking like a hoarse is sentence to describe someone walk uncarefully. Some of the word she said sound strange to old thai as the language has changed over time. I don't usually watch thai drama, but this one is awsome!

Seem like the translator doesn't know how to translate to make foreigner who doesn't know Thai culture&Thai background information get the content of the drama.

If I were the translator I would translate to >>
"Or I have to act like the villian in a soap opera

and add >>
* Kik Suwatjanee is Thai actress who is famous for her villain-role. The signature of her character(and become viral meme LOL) is the face which the main actress of this drama expressing right now(3.47)
Actually, I'm the translator of one of Thai series too XD(Thai>Eng trans)
My english isn't that good , I admit haha // luckily, I have a foreign friend (english native speaker and she is Thai series FC either) to proof-read my translation.
But one thing which I always play attention to....is how I should translate to make the foreigner get the content of the series like Thais gets due to the culture&background info barrier.

I would recommend to show the romantic scenes as there is no language barrier and no culture shocks.
I have lived in the UK and also learnt many cultures here. When I watched comedies here, I don't laugh because I didn't get the jokes. Also colloquials (how native speak informally) are the new thing for me. It does take a lot of time and efforts to really understand the ideas and what things are going on in the society.
When you get to know how people interprete things, you will be able to get those understanding. Cultures are very important when you live in the different Countries.
