Renegade Scot Hi Ray, don’t let that wee issue with the tent put you off. I’ve three MSR Access tents and that’s the first issue I’ve had. Yeah it’s a lovely area. Not sure you could actually tire of it. 😀 L&D
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 Likely get one to try. Did have similar issue with my WikiUp 3 tent as loop come off so started putting a dab of super glue on the thread joins. Also done it with my new rucksack on the stitiching inside to try and prevent threads coming apart.

How were the midgies in July? I'm going for the gorms instead of Glencoe/Nevis in hope they're not as bad
Fine on that particular trip but will be pretty serious without a breeze. Do t them them stop you though. Just find an area on the windy side of the hills. 😊🤞

Not gotten it repaired yet but there’s a place in Musselburgh that repairs all outdoor kit, Scottish Mountain Gear Ltd (you probs know it already) I’ll take it there to make sure it’s fixed properly. That's exactly what I was about to suggest. They have my tent as we speak. Tore the mesh. 😳 They've moved by the way. In Newhailes Industrial Estate now.
