Nice job! I read somewhere that wax paper will help the glue from sticking. Maybe try placing wax paper between the candles and the cardboard?

Very well made tutorial. Your candles look great! I like your use of the pool noodle pieces. I’m making 8 sets of these for my Halloween graveyard. I’m adding a phone charger as a power supply to each set. They’ll plug into my yard lighting timer. These tea lights run on 3 volts so you can wire 2 or 3 LEDs in series and power it with a phone charger.

That's so cool! We have a big yard display with wires everywhere, I'll have to share sometime! I usually set these up on the candy table because they are safe to be knocked over when the kids get scared and they don't break.

Beautiful work. I hadn't seen that type of craft before. How do you get the glue to drip on the sides? Mine cools so quickly and doesn't really run. High temp or low temp? Thanks for posting!

if u wanna go more simple u could just get some empty toilet paper roles or paper towel roles and spray paint them white or wat ever color u would like them to be then take a hot glue gun and draw in the dripping wax on the top. then cut up a round piece of cardboard, glue it to the bottom of the toilet paper or paper towel role and then after u have that glued at the bottem spray paint or paint the bottom as well . also after the glue has dried, paint the "dripping wax" / glue. then all u do is stick a fake candle inside the top then bam u got a candle. NOTE: if u want u could take a tak or small needle and poke 1 hole on each side and slip a string and have them dangling from the ceiling to make them look like there floating in the air. looks pretty cool 😉
