Jack, do you need the wires wired up to summon him in the arena? i followed your steps but i couldn't summon him :( wait. do you need to kill plantera on the world before you can summon him? i killed him on my main world an then went on another world to try and summon him
I (tried to) use the cell on the altar, nothing happens! I've done these steps, and when I right-click on it, nothing happens! it doesn't even consume it
If people don't know how to summon the golem, beat the wall of flesh, unlock hard mode, kill three mechanical boss, kill plantera, find a temple, unlock the door with a key u get from plantera, get at least one cell, go to the alter, fight it

The queen bee is not a hardmode boss. The hardmode bosses are Skeletron Prime, The Destroyer, The Twins, Plantera, and The Golem. You should check out the terraria wiki for all the crafting information! Hope I helped :)

I'm on iOS and I made a world that I defeated wall of flesh but no plantera and opened the door but when I try to summon the boss it says I need the power cell which I already have
When you hover over it with your mouse the picture of the cell should appear next to your cursor, just click to activate the altar. Make sure you actually have the cell first :) Thanks for the comment and I hope I've helped :)
Yeah but hte problem is when I put the cell in nothing happens. Yes, I killed Plantera. I also killed Eater of Worlds, Wall of Flesh, Eye of Cthulu, Slime King, The 3 Mechanical Bosses, AND Old One's Army! WHAT ELSE DOES GOLEM WANT?!?!

i defeated plantera in another world and used the temple key for lihzard temple in another world and golem wont spawn... i just realized i have to defeat plantera in that world in order for him to spawn

ShadowSpying The cell must be in your inventory, as in, not on your cursor. Right click the altar and the cell gets consumed from your inv.
Everyone I found the cure! XD. So you have to kill Plantera anyways even if you have the key. And it works after that.
OMG i rememeber when the destroyer was like eater of wolrds
My game must've glitches. On my world, there was a giant hole on top of the jungle temple door, so I got in with no key.

u First need the Temple key to open the door of the temple and then u can summon the golem u get the temple key from planetara^^

After killing a hard mode boss, a pink flower will appear in the underground jungle. During the night, you can break it and summon plantera :)
I beat all three mechanical bosses, Plantera, and golem now and I’d have to say the easiest weapon for me was the scourge of the corruptor :D

to get the key defeat the plantera first find the platera bulb and break at the end it drops key find the temple and have some ADVENTURE TO FIND IT

dude after you defeated the destroyer i saw the head escapes.
there was mud blocks that led straight into the temple, so i got through easily
i found the tempol and cant find a way in cant break in uz pickaxe is to weak... where is the entrance to this tempol!?!
You don't need the temple key you can just blow up the door with dynamite

I broke in with my pick saw and kill the golem with the magnet sphere, pygmys ,paladins hammer, and nimbos rod and also did one with a meelee loadout
