Beautiful Instructions 👍🇬🇧 But Nathan... Antiglare panel in front of Cockpit... This should be painted matt black if I not have done some mistakes... 🤔
Fantastic videos ... many thanks "Airfix" for creating some new / easy to follow contents . I'm new to it all so something slow & steady is best for me. Don't want anything too technical ( just yet ! ) .... looking forward to ordering more starter kits to match the videos you've done so far :-)
@@OfficialAirfix Yes, so much has changed since(beware, when I was a kid story ahead) I started modelling. Back then there was no Internet, very few magasines which had only few photos in black and white. Our only inspiration was often the box art and "how to" and "best practrice" you would have to find out for yourself. Airfix's "Modelling for Beginners - How To" hits the spot teaching-wise. I watch them myself and I actually learned something new in the "Tiger I" video. The tricky part, which the video here also explains, is painting the canopy. Maybe the time has come to make these clear parts in a different way in the next "Starter Set"?, because they are put on together as in 1959. Cheers
They do already! I’ve built this kit before and a ton of others from them and they all have the ability to retract the gear if the Original aircraft could aswell! It depends on the manufacturer though :)
Hello I'm NEW to modelling and I would just like to know. How long does it take for the poly cement to set once it's on the plane and the clothes pegs are in place???? Regards Damon

The Black Arrows were on the telly the other night.
I haven't built a Red Arrows kit in about 40 years i think i need to remedy that.
I want to take this opportunity to suggest that Airfix kits come with the landing gear retracted option. What do you think?

A much better choice is the better model from Revell. More details, price the same. Greater joy after installation.
you forgot either pink or yellow to include so the red stands out but a good wee kit
Cheers mate, great video, which sets come with the wheels because I've noticed that some do come with wheels and some do not?
Стартовые наборы комплектуют из старых модей 70- х годов...как раз подойдет любителям ретро...

I did one of these kits recently and made the mistake of not thinning the paint!
What is the second, transparent sheet that comes with the decals used for? Or is it just to protect the decal sheet while not in use
It's just a sheet of protective paper as you said
@@ScaleModelMedic Thank you!
I once got this kit and it had a missing part 🙁
I thought I built this kit, but I very clearly remember having a nuclear meltdown trying to set those underside decals.
Got yesterday gant
They HAVE to fix their paint quality control, I got my kit, and it had dried up, like, rubber, grey paint (64)
Got saterday
Just spray paint the model
